It was the 16x something cant remember off the top of my head. Its def more aggressive then stock trd duals and not annoying in the cab. Had to keep it kinda mild for my lil one and the wife.

Looks good! I recently had mine done by a local shop custom fit using the high quality 3M vinyl. He used string tape to get the exact shape desired with no cutting. I think it turned out well.

    * single unit box versus old 2 piece design, still has side open option
    * has 3 base attachments versus 2
    * tube is more fluid and connects to throttle body easily
    * MAFS they provide a gasket, rubber seal, 2 new screws
    * top seal is recessed and sits on a rubber gasket
    * screws are cooler looking and comes with 5 versus 4
*most importantly it fits like a glove with easy installation

Looks good. I've been eyeing this as well. Anyone wanting the new design should call and specifically ask for it. They told me that there are still some of the older design In Inventory and will be shipped first until they run out unless you ask for the new design.

From stock yes anything over 2.5-3.75 rpm you can tell, over 3.75 you feel it. But need to try drive normal so I can compare from stock.....oh well guess I will wait til I have to fill up and start then, for now WOW

I’ve installed cai before, and really OCD about things so safe to say 1.5 hrs but could easily be about 40 minutes as it’s pretty simple. Everything fit perfect no need to force things. S&B really did a great job with the redesign. And FYI so far got 1.75-2 mpg more in city driving, probable could have gotten over 2 but any open chance had to see what this beast is hiding and made off

Thanks. Seems to drive pretty good. Runs straight on the interstate at speed. I'l deff let it settle then take it back. Would you suggest a less negative camber?

I like it. Seeing the new design in your truck I think seals the deal for me. Gives me something to spend tomorrows pay check on. :)

Here’s a little helpful tips on the new installation:
*when bolting the box to the engine bay, do the center 1st but leave a little slack to give some play. Then do the back as it’s a hard spot, then do the front and make sure the rubber bushing and screw are all the way out so you can hand tight. Then lock all in place
*when installing the rubber connectors that connect the throttle body and air tube, instal to the tube 1st and slides in to throttle body easier and tighten.
*when installing the rubber gasket that goes around the top of the box which the clear cover will sit on, go about 1/8” over so there a little pressure to keep the seal seated better
*last but not least. Try and go easy on the foot just so you can see that your investments yields a better mpg and then you can enjoy what it was made for.....hehe
.......I was getting 12 mpg city driving and this is what I got so far in city driving, have to admit could have gone over 2mpg but had a hard time opening it up when possible...lol

I don't know how much I'd use it either, but she wanted it pretty bad. She's short so that may be the reason.
