I would like to star by leveling the truck but every time I google "lift kits" I get a barrage of options of various size and configuration that just confuses me.

look at the pic and you will see I have 20 inch rims and the tire size is 275/60/20 (I think)I would like to do a 2 inch lift/level and maybe change my tires to these. https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tire...R0GEOATS&vehicleSearch=false&fromCompare1=yes

Any recommendations and links would be appreciated.

If you don't want to spend a bunch of cash Bilstein 5100s up front will get you level w/o breaking the bank. Avoid spacers.

thank you for the info, I have read a few times people say "avoid spacers" what is the reason behind that?

It compresses the spring causing a harsher ride and reduces travel. Also, can lead to breaking shocks but that's really only gonna happen off road. Either way you have to pull the coil over so it's just best to replace the shock.

What do you have for a 3/1 or 3/2 leveling option for a 2018 crewmax and what’s the cost ?

Are you sure that's the size you are going with? Those are almost 36 inches in diameter. You are gonna need a bigger lift (and/or some serious cutting).

I got the readylift 3/1 kit on Amazon ($100 cheaper than the readylift site) and it has been great so far. The ride is the same and i love the leveled look. The level kit is not meant for serious off roading (obviously) so it depends on what you are going to use your truck for. I had toyota install mine. With the kit you can fit 35s with some trimming.

I’m looking at the 3/1 or the 3/2 kit. I do NO off-roading just for looks and to fit bigger wheels and tires.
Any pics of your truck leveled ? If so can you PM me a few ?
    Thanks

$239. It fluctuates throughout the day from $225 - $270 roughly so just watch it through the day and get it when its around 230/240. I almost always install my own stuff and i attempted this install but stopped and let toyota do it. $380 for them (robbery)

    thnx for the info.

Evanston, is there a Tundra club in Chicago?

I am still in the learning process, I would like to lvl it and change the tires to something with a higher sidewall because the ones i have now look (at least to me) ...to small for the truck.

2010bigdog; Thee_Oddball; Why don't we start a Tundra Club?? I've been scouring this site for information because I'm about to start turning my truck into an off-roading tank and have no idea where to start, but even with the wealth of knowledge on this site being able to meet with people and put hands on the things that we're talking about would help me immensely.

Just a thought, what do you guys think??

My $0.02, I would get rid of the 20" wheels and get 17" or 18" and a toytec 3/1 lift with 35"-ish tires.
