gotta get new bindings unless your old ones came with the channel mounts and you saved them. what kind of bindings do you have?

was at Copper yesterday. met some people out there and stayed the night with them Saturday and got first tracks yesterday morning. turns like butta


Headed to Crested Butte this weekend for 3 days of possible epic tracks. supposed to snow friday and hopefully it'll be a freak storm!

 

No kid today, so I was able to enjoy a beer on the deck

What’s your local resort? Are you near Northstar?

 

It’s Mt. Rose. Northstar isn’t too far either, both are less than an hour.

This is from MLK weekend up at Whiteface (Lake Placid). Super cold but insanely clear. Minimal wind was keeping the freshly fallen 8” on the slopes too. Good time.

 

Sitting in the office looking at these pics is rough. Looks like a great time. Riding Friday and Saturday though.

 

Yeah, I live in Sparks. I used to live right at the base of the Mt. Rose highway when I was in high school/college and was like 15 minutes from the mountain. I missed a lot of school...

 

Another beautiful day at the mountain. I also parked close to an awesome taco pro, today was a good day!

 

Summit County has been pounded this week but I wouldn’t come up if you’re planning on it. Just the wind is shutting roads down and making exposure unbearable while it’s 10 degrees/ 25 highs

 

I started snowboarding back around 1983/84 ... After I got married and started a family, I haven't been back on my board since the mid to late 90's. Still have my boards (Burton's) and doubt I could board for a full day, but maybe one day I'll hit the slopes before I'm too old and might hurt myself.

 

I can tell you, from experience, a full day at our age will be painful. I can’t go all day and if I do I almost always get hurt, or worse, look uncool in front of my friends

 

The last 10 plus years have been ruff to say the least. I just can't seem to bounce back like I use too. Heck, with my vision starting to go the last few years I'm not even sure I'd be able to see what the snow/ice conditions would be until I've crossed it. Nearly all my friends are in the same boat, so I'd look just as cool as those sorry asses.

Was out from first to last chair at copper yesterday. Freaking amazing day for groomers

 

Wind reloads very nicely if you can see the runs

 

Had a date with Ms. Mary Jane yesterday, she's a beaut on a pow day. Snow report was off too, there was upwards of a foot and a half in spots. Couldn't keep me outta those trees if they were up in a blaze!
