We have the exact same suspension set up... I'm installing my rear 5100s tomorrow. The 6112 are so smooth up front.

Is it difficult? I've never installed them before. I'm going to attempt to install my 5160's tomorrow.

I think you just need a 17mm socket and wrench.

Got my tires rotated at dealer. As I went around to check the lug caps were put on all the way I noticed on 1 I was able to turn it slightly. I removed the lug caps and put a lug wrench on it but it was tight. Is it normal that with my fingers I can very slightly move the end of the lug back and forth, yet it's tightened all the way and can't be truly turned tighter or looser by hand. Just has a little play in the lug? Is this normal or ok?

Picked up my 17 DC from Radio Active Audio in Garner NC. Had a Alpine ILX-207 and KAC-001 installed. Would recommend Ash ( owner/installer) to anyone. He does great work and knows his stuff. Just now to get everything setup to me.

Picked her up from getting 4.88's and LSD installed, now just have to get past this darn break in period. And since she was good at the Dr's offfice, she got a "lollipop" when she got home. Vled triton V6 front blinker bulbs were waiting in the mailbox when I got home, so of course those had to go in, like stat. LED conversion is now complete inside and out.

I thought that was a possibility however none of the others were doing the same. Since all the others remain still when I twist with fingers I figured the impact gun probably damaged that one by over tightening it and not using a torque wrench to spec.

Since the lug does not tighten anymore with the supplied lug wrench I'm guessing if in fact it's simply the top cover piece that it's no big deal or of any concern? I just want to make sure it's not a current safety issue or won't develop into 1 down the road since my boys are in my truck often. I'm sure it's not a good thing there's that play and I'm sure it's going to probably get worse over time, not any better. Since I got spacers I just want to be confident that it won't cause issue down the road.

So just to reiterate, if in fact it's just the chrome lug cover top piece, not the black color lug or the actual lug into the spacer since it's not moving, being only that top piece with a little wiggle room, I should be fine leaving it as is? /t

They came from the factory on my ‘18 TRD Sport, so I don’t know what it’s like to not have them. Turning is very solid with minimal body roll. Awesome addition.

I’ve done so much to my suspension that I can’t tell what difference each piece made but it’s night and day vs factory

Man, I’ve learned my lesson on suspension mods. I don’t think I’m touching my Tundra’s suspension. I had a 17 Tacoma I traded for this. I put 5100’s and OME springs on it and couldn’t get the alignment correct. I saw a lot of $$$$ needed to get it right and I bailed out. Haha! That’s a nice truck!

Wow. Suspension, paint, radio install...Y’all have been busy today. Nothing so ambitious here.

Just put the rod vault back on in anticipation of some early-season casts.

I talked with TCP, but bought up in Temple, at Don Ringler. Charles Maund were such ***clowns when I bought my Taco in ‘10 that I never considered them.
