What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

What brand and width wheel spacers did you go with? That makes me want to get rid of my 20's, for a set of those wheels.

 

The safe is sold by Lock’er Down. The organizer is just one of the full size ones, cut to fit. Bought it on Amazon for $12.99. There are quite a few on there, but they’re all the same, just get the cheapest one that ships free, if you’re a Prime member.

 

When I switched to LEDs on my FJ cruiser I just replaced the flasher module and didn't need to use the resistors.

 

Are those rear blocks hollow?

 

Another difference between the two, at least in pictures I’ve seen of the SE Toyota half safe, and my experience with the Lock’er Down, is that the lid on the latter is spring loaded. That means that no tab is needed, in order to pull it open. When I spoke to the owner of Lock’er Down about the bad bolts I was sent initially, he said that tab was required when SE Toyota came to him about making a safe for them, and he refused, as it’s simply something that can easily be pried up, and with the spring hinge, not needed.

Again, I know there are folks that have gotten bent out of shape, (w/o the use of a pry bar!), with my comments on the SE Toyota safe. Enjoy what you have, I bought the Lock’er Down and am happy with my purchase. Life is good with choices.

Please tell me more...you just used the LEDs with a new flasher...so, how did you choose a new flasher that would work with the LEDs? I like the idea of this...

If off roading...your better off mounting it higher up as to not tear up the sway bar

 

It's real advantages are considerably more noticeable for street driving...thats why I mounted mine per Toyotas instructions

Quick question.. how do I get the key fob to automatically set the seat program to one or 2? I tried following the manual, to no avail... am I doing something wrong?

 

@easleycrawler I went with 1.5". They're not well known as far as i know, but they drive well and I checked them today after 100 miles and they were still torqued. They fit tightly on the hub and the wheel (even without the studs), just like my previous Spidertrax. Ur welcome. Smart move don't wait, I doubt they will last too long.

 

I run them tires in 295/70r18 on oem pro wheels and love them. Now u can kill 2 birds 1 stone. If u don't want the tires u will have zero issues selling bc everyone else does want them. I think I got mine new for just under that. If u sell them u get the wheels free or close to it. If I was u I'd rock them with the tires, they're bad ass tires. Good luck.

 

Haven't heard back from him yet. I think those tires will be a little big for my truck. I'm running 285/55r20's now, I have very little clearance now. My truck is a 2wd sr5.

 

Oh ok, yeah can't comment on fitment, worst case though u sell the tires and get the wheels for free or almost free. Good luck either way. I just remembered seeing that post the other day and figured I'd try to help ya out.
