Its not cheap but it hooks directly to the exchanges and pulls the info down. You can do it by hand to in excel. That's what a lot of people do. Also most exchanges have exports of your trading history.

I have read that for small time miners the electricity costs negate the profits...these machines use a huge amount of electricity, create massive amounts of heat and are very noisey...but I have never done it so I can't tell you if the articles I've read and the videos I've watched are true....I'm not sure but I think I watched one video and the guy said he didn't start making a profit until he had 15 machines running and then it was hell keeping them from burning up...but if you do try it I wish you the best of luck

I have 2 gpus running in my work computer mining in the background. You can make money mining but not mining bitcoin or even really eth Right now. You have to spec mine. I mine a lot of new coins when they first come out or some lesser coins. I have been mining dgb for a couple months. When I started I was getting 300 coins a day. Now I get about 80 because more people are mining it because the price went up. After the feline the current price is .05 a coin so 80 aa day is $4. It costs me about .50 in electricity. When I started I was at about $1.50 a day or $1 a day profit but I did not sell them so those coins are now worth $15 a day or $14.5 a day profit.

 

It is hot though. In the winter it helps heat my office. In the summer I have to stop mining on hot days

 

I've got an ETH miner running 5x RX480s. That's about 120MH/s. Very pleased with where ETH has and continues to go. Network difficulty is growing exponentially with market price though.

 

See that just shows how much I don't know...

 

It's cool and isolated in my basement. I'd be doing it just for the gee-whiz factor of setting it up anyway. Just another hobby to tinker with.

 

I uh.. work for a company that is very environmentally friendly. We have strived to become carbon neutral by deploying a roof top full of solar panels. My rig runs in a hot warehouse, powered by the sun.

@Tiger Tanker When you have to state your "resume" over and over, you have already lost. No one 1)respects your opinion or 2) cares about your background.

Imagine if every time somebody ask about suspension parts, Toytec came in posting about their experience/resume and fighting with everybody. Wouldn't that kind of eat their credibility alive, and maybe... Make them look like a loser?

When I'm ready to start making 6% gains per year I'll PM you for advice, slap you with a bar of bitcoin, then start trading crypto again.
