Bought my 2016 Black Tundra on January 3, 2017.

Well before I bought it, was already researching different Wheel/Tire Combos and Suspension.
Have owned a 1999, 2000, 2004, 2005 Tundra previously, and had tried it all...Camburg, King, Donahoe, Total Chaos, etc.

My last Tundra I owned had all Camburg stuff, so I emailed Jerry at Camburg to see if he remembered me and my last truck and asked they could work on my new Tundra. After emailing back and forth a few times, they were really adamant on using Method Wheels because of the offset and I didn't like any of the Methods that were out at the time, and I didn't like the weight. Sooo...

For wheels/tires, I talked to Dustin @ FN wheels for a while and decided to go with Satin Black FN 18x9 wheels, and moved on from Camburg, though I still really love everything they do there. Crazy meticulous and that's the type of shop I like to go to.
After jawing with Dustin a little bit when I picked up my wheels, I decided to pull the trigger on a Toytec Boss coilover setup with Shackles and Total Chaos UCAs, then went to my local Discount Tire and ordered 4-Toyo Open Country AT2 285/75/R18.

They came in a day later, then I had them mount and balance all four then proceeded to go for the suspension. I had SD Truck Stop install everything, while I played golf, then went home to find out how much I had to trim to rid the rub.
After trimming and moving plastic parts I thought I was done for a bit, but the Amber DRL was driving me nuts, so I ordered a white LED to replace it that needed a 5ohm resistor creatively mounted to work correctly (no hyperflash)

now I think I'm done for awhile, but I remembered a local LED dealer up the road so I called them to get all my interior bulbs replaced with LED, along with my cargo lamps. Wow, those are bright was all that I rememberthinking. Glad I did it, because the yellow hue from the stock lighting was annoying.

ok, next...the headlights suck. nothing else to say about it. ordered Spyder Headlights and a 35W HID kit to put in it. Was super stoked to get it but when it came, the mounting tabs on one of the headlightswas broke. went from super stoked to super pissed and annoyed. returned it all! texted my Toyota Tech buddy (best man in my wedding from many moons ago), and had him order some 2018 LED Headlights!
YES! Also ordered PNP relay from eledobleu, in hopes they would get here the same day with expedited shipping. They did, and I installed right after I picked up the kids from school on a Friday afternoon. It meant I lost the White LED Turn Signal DRL, but gained the awesomeness of the LED DRLs! The light output of these 2018 LEDs are sooooo much better then the halogens, and still retain the OEM look. Couldn't be happier!

Ooh, forgot this part...While I was pissed waiting on a credit for the Spyder and waiting for my 2018's, I started to ponder a Supercharger! Called around and couldn't get it installed at a reputable shop for less than $10k, so tried to put it on the backburner. While that was simmering, sent a text to my nephew in AZ to get me a Bulldog BDX and mail it to me, since the Republic of California won't let us have that. Also called Keith at Dirty Deeds to build me some LT Headers and exhaust, but again the Republic of California frowns upon LT headers so...

8" Exhaust with Helmholtz Resonator from Dirty Deeds. Keith and I had a slight misunderstanding on when I would be picking up the system so to make it right, Keith, himself came out to my work and installed the system in my back parking lot at work. That is customer service!

Still pondering whether to install the BD or get a DAP Tune, but I'm sure one day soon I'll wake up and do one or the other.
That's all for now, thanks for reading!
