    I have a quick question!

    I have a 2nd generation (2010) 2WD long bed 5.7l Tundra. V8.

The drive shaft is tilting slightly to the passenger side... Is it normal? I thoght that the drive shaft should be perfectly straight horizontally. I thought it can tilt slightly up or down (specially on lifted trucks) but not left or right....
I don't think that the truck has been in an accident.

    what do you think?

I’m not at my truck right now but I’m pretty sure it’s offset a bit. Also if that bothers you, the rear end is also not centered under the truck, it favors the passenger side a little. The passenger side wheel is closer to the edge of the fender than the driver side.

They’re discussing 3rd gen here but I’d bet the reason is the same.

have no fear. toyoda has been successfully running driveshafts with a sideways angle for decades. i'm dang near 50 and this setup is older than me ;)

not sure why it's upside down...i flipped it in paint and the file on my desktop shows flipped too??? f'n computers

I am ashamed to admit it but I was a chevy guy once and the gm driveshafts were the same way.

And most of your friends look down on you for the decision LOL. But we’ll be the ones with the last laugh. They won’t be happy unless somebody else suffers with them in their poor decisions.
