I actually just updated my post. I assume the connection is not good since the truck starts without it. But I had a mechanic buddy help me with this process while we watched the video and did this step-by-step. So it is strange that when I unclip the entire TPMS it works, but does not work when I plug it back in. What do you think I should do? Unplug just the blue wire it connects to? I am confused at this point.

You don’t want to leave it unclipped. Those wires are really thin and hard to use a connector. I soldered mine because of that. It’s either your connection is not good, your unit needs to be reflashed/reprogrammed or that output is bad. I would solder those connections and go from there. If that doesn’t work contact the person u bought it from. Could be a bad unit. Maybe someone close to you has the flash tool?

I believe d6 and d4 is just a relay output. Might be able to test the leads once disconnected from the blue wire w a multimeter. If you are capable of that that’s what I would do. It should change state before/after remote start is initiated. Also check to make sure all the pins are good I’m that D connector. Try re seating the connector.

If you find it let me know. It looks like the THAR-ONE-TOY7 is just the same THAR-ONE-TOY2 we are currently using with the addition of the THAR-TY50 harness also. I can't find it anywhere. I was going to do my install today, but 1 wire is far better than 9. I may hold off and see if I can find this THAR-TY50...

Finished mine up a few hours ago. Took about 3.5 hours to complete in total. I soldered every connection for durability. Had zero problems with install and programming. I thought I had an issue when I tried to start it for the first time, but I had forgotten to completely close the hood from reconnecting the battery. The dash and parking lights just blinked 5 times. Consulted the remote start diagnostics chart, and 5 blinks means the hood is open and disabled the starting process. Closed the hood and it worked great. One thing I thought was odd was mine will NOT start just holding down the lock button on the oem fob for 3-4 seconds. I even tried 10 seconds. Only thing that works is lock, unlock, lock. Thanks for another great mod idea Blue!! Only 20 more days until the BAMuffler arrives.

That’s because of the programming. If you have the flash tool you can change that. Or send it to me and I can change it for you. Ha. Good job.

I bought the flash link with the package and programmed all my parameters myself. Figured I'd rather do it than have the e-Bay guy do it and it saved me a few bucks. I got the evo-one, the t-harness, and the flash link for $185 shipped. I guess I'll just have to fiddle with the settings some. Is it the lock 3 times setting instead of the lock, unlock, lock? I figure you must know which parameter enables the long press of lock to start if you're offering to program it. Thanks again!

You can do it. I had a buddy help me but after he did it I was convinced I could do it myself. Disclaimer: It does not currently work since I am having him come by tomorrow to solder a connection (SIL Data) that is having an issue and it will be fixed by tomorrow afternoon. But in all honesty, you can do it by yourself. It is just finding the right wire and connecting it to another wire. Yes, there are a lot of wires underneath there but follow the online steps from Fortin and you will be fine. I also had an ingenious (in my opinion) idea to get the wires strung from the drive side to the passenger side for one of the hook ups. I use pipe cleaners that were bright green and tied the wires to them to get them through. They were sturdy enough and visible to see to get them through. Anyways, @BlueBottle is super helpful if you want to send him a message while you';re doing it. just grab a beer and wait 5 minutes for his response. (He may be busy but was super helpful when I was installing it)

Mine's set for lock three times, and push and hold does not start it. The triple lock does sometimes trip my alarm...

I need some help fellas, I installed the fortin evo and I’m not able to start the truck with holding the lock button down or the lock-unlock-lock method. I am able to start the car normally with my key and don’t see any Xmas lights on the dash.

    1) Do I need to program the device like in the instructions (see pic) or did the eBay seller already do this? I bought the unit programmed because I don’t have the cable or software.

    2) Do I really need to use the “key sense” wire on my 2014, most of the instructions I saw on here didn’t show that wire but the seller on eBay mentioned it’s different for 2015 onward (see pic)??

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Saadi

Do you get any feedback from the parking lights when attempting to start the truck? Mine flashed 5 times and according to the troubleshooting chart, this was because my hood was left open so it wouldn't start. What do the LED's on the module show when attempting to start it with the remote?

I just went through the programming step in the instructions and it’s cranking but the engine won’t turn over. I read about this issue and will try to reconnect the blue wire again.

Looks like a programming issue, I removed all the positaps and soldered every connection and was still having the issue. Read the post from Josh Green and I’m having the exact same issue.

Can I change the programming through the tech stream software? I received the cable and software in the mail a few mins ago.

I don't believe the techstream will do it. You need the flashlink updater for the evo module to check what parameters were picked. Like BlueBottle offered for me, if you want to send the module off I can check the programming, or just buy one from Amazon and plug it in to your PC and check it yourself.

My mistake was that I had the “SIL Data & Can (high/low) connected together to their respective oem connecters. I Didn’t comprehend that I had to actually cut a wire even throw it shows a scissor and states “cut”. Hope you guys get a laugh out of this.

Not fully understanding this. But, do you have both the red/white & white/green wires coming from Evo One from the red D slot and you now cut the white/green into the red/white and it works now? Was it that you did not cut any wires before inserting into the SIL DATA?

I initially had (D3 yellow/green & D1 yellow/red) wired together to the green wire to the light connecter underneath the steering wheel. I ended up cutting the green wire and connected (D3 yellow/green) going to the connector and (D1 yellow/red) going towards the wire loom - away from the connector.

I also did the same mistake with (D4 white/green & D6 white/red) wired together to the blue wire under the passenger side dash. I cut the blue wire and connected (D6 white/red) going to the connector and (D4 white/green) going towards the loom - away from the connector.

Hope that explains what I did to correct the error.

They didn't turn solid for me either. You have to observe it's pattern and let go when the red and blue are lit at the same time. I did the same thing waiting for the red and blue to steady and they never did, so I just let go once red and blue we're lit and it worked no problem.

Well I got my remote starter to work, finally. Ha. I had the help from @saadi996tt and he physically drew it out on a piece of paper to better help me understand what I did wrong. Looking at it now, it was an easy fix and literally took me 2 minutes to get it working. I don't need to get into it but it did not occur to me before that I physically had to cut the blue wire, like physically cut it in half and attach the red/white wire closer to the TPMS and then connect the white/green wire to the other half of the blue wire leading back to the Evo One . Seems easy now but it was a quick fix and I'm pumped!
