Not sure on the siping. However as for size. Check the specs on this size. Almost a 35 yet narrow enough to still fit the tundra and it's only 63 pounds compared to others in this size that are 70-75 each like the Nitto Ridge Grappler. So this size is the one I'm looking at going with.

Understand, different tires for different conditions. More aggressive tread meets my needs but maybe not yours. I don't get in deep sand much anymore. There was a time when I did and my MTs would just dig holes.

They are Severe Snow Service rated, so there should be no problem there. They are probably great tires, but I'm a little shallow and want something that looks cooler.
As for mud, take a look at their M/T G003, that is a good looking tire.

Looking at tread pattern close up they look like they would be good in snow. In snow you want smaller voids.

I think I am definitely going to go with the Yokohama AT G015, I took a look at my brother in laws again today and really like the tread on them. They run quiet and have excellent siping for winter conditions.

I put a set of these on my 4runner yesterday. I replaced Toyo Open Country AT2s with these. The sound is quieter than the Toyo. Not enough miles to tell much as of yet, looking forward to the wet traction test as that is where my Toyo's didn't fair so well.

What is the difference between the A/T G015 and the A/T-S? Also their M/T G003 looks pretty sweet. I had a set of Geolanders on a 1998 reg cab short bed Z71 and liked them for the small amount of time I had the truck although I never went off road in it as it stayed shiny. Oops, just saw where the A/T-s only comes in two sizes so scratch that option.

I think mainly the AT/S was replaced by the G015.

I'll be making the exact same change: Toyo OC AT2 > G GO15.

Its not just you who was dissatisfied with the lack of wet traction on the Open Country's. In Florida with daily showers they were disappointing.

Road noise aside, is there any noticeable difference in ride quality on pavement?

Very interested to hear your impressions.

I am still trying to decide between these or the toyo ATII in 285/75R18. Both have a great warranty. Both are popular all over the world. The Yoko is a bit lighter also. I have never used either though which is why I started asking on this forum. I know the Toyo “looks more aggressive” but I have yet to have a person come up to me and call me out on my lack of aggressiveness due to truck tires.

Not that it means anything, but If I was satisfied with my Toyo OC AT2's I wouldn't be looking to buy this tire to replace them.
Just my anecdotal, sample size of one, view.

I don't care about dual sidewall designs as long as the tire is t h i c c and does what its supposed to.

Maybe a little softer feeling. They ride and look more like a highway tire than an AT tire. They are certainly not as aggressive looking as the Toyo was, but so far I like the tire. I can't wait to try a concrete interstate ramp in the rain. The Toyo's would slip and slide all over the place.

I replaced my Toyo's at 35k miles. I couldn't take the slipping on concrete surfaces any longer. I hear lots of people love the Open Country AT2, but on my 4runner, they have lousy wet traction. Maybe with the weight of the Tundra, they would do much better and I am tempted to test that theory, but I had to pull the trigger and replace mine. Luckily, I got a real good deal on the Yokohama's.

I will be going with these tires also. I appreciate your info and feedback. I will post pics once they are installed. Please do the same here for anyone else who may not know what a great tire it is. I will be going with a 285/75R18 on SCS Ray 10s when they ship out. Bilstein 6112 on top setting up front. 5160 rear shocks. Possible add a leaf also to level it but will have to see how the level is once everything is installed.

I would like to have Ray 10s on my Tundra, but currently, they aren't making a color that I think would look good with my color. I will probably be going with Enkei, American Racing or BBS in polished or gray.

I included a shot with the Toyo's too for comparison. The Toyo is definitely a meaner looking tire.

Also, I dropped down a width with the Yokohama's (275) compared to the Toyo's (285).
