Honestly if I were to buy a new Tundra, it'd be an access cab Limited 4x4 in black with a tan interior.

Though one member of this forum said he just bought a brand new Tundra and wasn't very satisfied with the JBL sound system. Would it be better to go with an SR5 or a TRD of some sort and put the money saved towards high-end speakers?

    It's not JBL?

Go with Pioneer. That's what I've got in my Tacoma!

I get the idea that all the audio offered by Toyota aren't great. Mine is not good. If you're an audio, plan on paying to customize.

I understand @Marty McFly asking you to find and photograph a Pro. He probably loves those and they are kinda few and far between. Like, me? I'd totally dig a pic of an Inferno DC....

i was joking about taking pics of the PRO cuz they are rare trucks. I do have a PRO and in all honesty they aren't that rare. I've seen at least two in my neighborhood alone. That was my fault bud, I was jumping between the forum and other stuff. I was a little vague in my responses and not paying attention to my responses. I'm a fan of your pics and I enjoy all your posts

This one would normally be a bit too stock for my standards, but this would be only the third 1st gen regular cab I've ever posted to this thread.

In addition to that, despite its plain appearance, it is in damn good shape! Somebody definitely takes care of this Tundy!

We can safely assume that this truck has the venerable 3.4L 190hp V6 engine, though I wasn't close enough to tell if it was automatic or stick shift. It's also probably safe to assume that regardless of whether or not this Tundy has a third pedal, there's a 99% chance it has A/C.

I believe JL Audio makes a prefab subwoofer enclosure for the 1st gen RC Tundy as well!

I bugged the owner of the bar where I work to let me photograph her 1794 Tundy because I couldn't find any other ones...

I get pictures of the black 1794, and within weeks I see two more 1794s in different colors, in less than 24 hours!

Looking for first generation Tundra; now have 2004 Tacoma
I have a 2004 Tacoma that I bought without AC. It was 6 years old when I bought it and it had only 40k miles. Since it had lived in Georgia and east Texas, I figure it was garaged in the summer. I got a heck of a deal on it.
Anyway, I had AC professionally installed. I had to locate some used parts, but the compressor and all hoses were new. Cost $1800 which still made the truck a good deal. There is a longer story about the purchase, but in the end, it worked just fine. I would guess that a Tundra could also be refitted, but have no personal knowledge.

I've been through Mississippi before, traveling between NOLA and Pensacola with the parents in the summer of 2012. We were in a rented 2012 Expedition XLT 2WD, and the A/C in that thing would numb fingers and harden nipples!

The owner of the bar where I work, and her husband (one of the best lawyers ever) own several sick vehicles. In addition to the Tundra, they also own a 1994 Land Rover Defender 90, a Porsche 356, a 2003 BMW M3 convertible, a 2011 Honda Element, a Jeep Wrangler, a lifted 4x4 Mercedes Sprinter, and a Vespa scooter. Before the 2016 Tundy, there was a fully loaded 2005 Nissan Titan that they'd owned since new. The Titan was in good enough condition, and had low miles for an 11-year old vehicle, but it was starting to have age-related problems. The owner was a bit pissed when I told her that the new Titan was available with a diesel engine, but I assured her that the Tundy (whether a base model SR or a fully loaded 1794 like the one she has) is a better choice!
