If they say it might be a software glitch/update then it's there job to find out period. Your truck is still under warranty and the question to ask them is "if this is your charger would find this acceptable " if it was yours?

I personally do not have your symptoms but when my phone is charging if I open the rear windshield the charging stops or gets interrupted I would assume that the circuitry is that sensitive, so in the daytime I really couldn't give a rats ass but at night....Forget about it as of now I'll put my winter hat over it due to lighting up the cabin when it loses contact with the charger.
Probably in the spring time I'll rip out the OEM and spend the money and get a duel station and blend it in to look the best that I can.

Try sliding it a 1/4 “ - 1/2 “ to the left of the alignment tab on the right of the charger, that where I set mine and it works just fine

Anyone know of a Qi2 charger for our new Tundras that will replace the pathetic OEM wireless charger?

Not a replacement for that but I’ve got a 3D printed mag charger insert for the top open center tray area that uses a Belkin mag charger if you wanna go that route. It uses the USB hookups in the console to connect to. It’s much better than OEM as far as speed and connection. You need to have a slim magnetic case for it to work.

Here is my post if interested.
