Completely agree!! and I know it sucks right now but come Sunday morning when I'm finally home and waking up in my own bed it won't see nearly as bad as it is now. bummer but could be way worse as well

All of your electrical gremlins are on the green harness pictured below, MAF, SAIS, O2, Trans...

Check the connections in the driver's side relay/fuse box as well as the connections in the passenger side junction box (pull connectors out and visually inspect pins for damage or debris)
Check any other connections along the harness (pull connectors out and visually inspect pins for damage or debris)
While you are doing that, look for any damage to the harness that could indicate a problem.

Thanks, after verifying all you suggested, I am back to only no MAF voltage, I believe that's D53 & I see no issues there.

Pins 9,10 & 11 which are for the sensors ( I think) are ok, I have power at 7&8 also.

    I'm plugging away at it.

    YES = 7/8/9/10/11 = +B battery power

16/17/19/20/21/22 are all shielded grounds at D2, passenger valve cove at the rear.

Thanks, I looked at the back of the passenger valve cover & didn't see a ground so added one, no voltage. :(

I appreciate the verification on the harness & pins,

Adding a ground I don't think will help, it sounds like the issue might be that harness is not grounded---not the valve cover lacking a ground.

Not really, find the harness wires (they're probably floating somewhere) and hook them up. I've only been half paying attention to this thread, but if I followed what @mustang67408 was saying, it's these two ground points. I remember them from Reys engine since there's about a thousand wires that tie into two ground tabs. If these are not connected on your head that's probably a lot if not all the issues.

I looked, from the top, can't see. Damn heater tree & firewall are right there. Tried from the bottom, don't see it but also nothing loose I can see. I need to pull the tire to try from that angle but...

I'll stop complaining about 85-90. I can't even fathom it. Although I've been stuck in some 100 degree engine rooms when I was younger.

Well...went up to Seattle yesterday and noticed when I accelerated, in 6th, it would disengage TC Rev up 500rpm then normal acceleration. I usually don't have it in D and limit it to 5th as 6th gear, S3, was given me issues in traffic. I knew better and should of kept it in 5th! Made it home after 1.5 hour drive up and back. 1 mile from my house throttle wouldn't increase rpm, limp mode.
No MIL but codes p0761, p0894 and p2714 which I've had before except the p0894.
I had a spare speed sensor and threw that on for the output and will be testing the S3 and SLT solenoid. Fluid is pretty good. I've got both but knew this time was coming.
@reywcms will probably have to swing by soon. Send trans out or maybe tackle the rebuild after the move. Real Estate market has been crazy around here. Just sucks as I'm trying to get ready to list my house before the rainy season sets in.

So, more awesome news from my side of the world. Shop was replacing the timing belt on my Lexus and grenaded the motor.

They're ordering me a remanufactured motor with warranty tomorrow. :annoyed:

Wow, that is insane. How does paying for the belt service in a situation like that work?

I'm conflicted on whether I think you should have to pay. :p

It was there for a previous oil leak that they fixed that was back. They claimed to have fixed that but recommended doing the timing belt while they were in there. They're charging me for the original service and nothing on top of that. In the time from fixing the original leak to bringing it back the shop actually completely changed hands and technically they don't need to honor anything at all, granted it'd be the right thing to do... So, they're kinda meeting me in the middle for the original service. It's been one big mess.

Put belt on, usually one tooth premature in my experience, spin motor a few times, check belt in the correct spot. Send it.

Not sure how they fucked that up.

Oof. That’s a bummer but good on them for owning it.

Someone forgot to pull the pin on the tensioner?? I’ve heard of similar things happening with a timing belt on various motors but have never seen a definitive answer why.
