    Tastefully enhanced...
Did a LOF, rotated tires, threw the cat shields back on and threw another quart (one over) into the tranny...my annual 2 week road trip starts in a couple weeks... I'm glad to get this checked off!

Edit...got more done, extended my Parking Sensor switch and my Traction Control switch harness and dropped them in the lower center console switch area...I moved my NSV switch and my Aux Reverse light switch up to above the brake controller...I use these more often then Parking and Trac control, tho, it's not hard to hit them if needed...

My warranty runs out in October and passenger side cam tower is leaking again, so taking it in to get fixed. Started removing secondary shocks and shock tower brace today because they are in the way.

Picked up a new daily/work truck this morning. 2025 Silverado 1500 - 5.3 with 10 speed transmission and rear locker. Added window tint and bedliner. It’s a work truck package so nothing nice. I like it so far, runs great and fun to drive.

Today was an extremely long day:

Installed an Eibach front leveling kit set at 2”. Stupid Canadian rust before it came South years ago….

Fortunately, I was almost perfectly prepared..

Had two new OEM lower control arms & outer tie rod ends on hand, just in case, yeah I needed both of them…

One of the cam bolts was so rusted and frozen, I had to cut it with a thin blade, saw kept overheating. Had to cut it in two places, took about 4 hours with the breaks I had to take to let the saw cool off and it took 5 blades.

Rear Eibach shocks. Took off the horribly rusted and dysfunctional rear air bags, went back with stock bump stops & RAS. Which also meant I had to replace the u bolts and undo most of the RAS I had added a couple of weeks ago, because I just couldn’t wait.

Drain and fill the tranny, transfer case, and front differential, already did the rear.

Added BFG All terrains, 275/70r18. Got rid of the Platinum 20” wheels, 18’s ride better.

Then had to do the alignment at my buddy’s shop…. That took way longer than it should’ve, passenger front cam bolt just wasn’t in the right place and was very stubborn. I used Bison’s Off Road Cam bolts, I like them.

Why didn't you replace the volume/track button while you were at it?

Probably cause Meso like never has stock and will never respond about inventory restock. Easier to replace parts you can actually get

This is why I went w/the AJT blackout pieces on the steering wheel... Meso has been out of stock for months!!!!

Guess what I got yesterday though... Notice from Meso that a certain steering wheel blackout kit was back in stock... :frusty:

Nothing much today. Taking it to national speed in a week to go stage 2 of supercharger.

In the mean time swapped the blower motor out for the sequoia one part #87103-60560 took all of 10 minutes. Definitely moved more air.

I started buying AJT too. I prefer Meso but his business skills are garbage. I'm done supporting him if I have options

Does Meso/AJT or anyone have a black option yet for the silver volume button on the left side?

Doesn't bother me enough to change the button function around plus it's not silver anyway.:)

I feel like its gotten more than he ever thought or wanted. I had a tacoma when he was on tacomaworld starting up and you talked to him to order stuff and then the website came and then more platforms and then a few years later, I start seeing that he's unresponsive and when I check the site, theres never stock. I have to wonder how interested he is in answering emails or finding decent employees. Then fighting with suppliers etc...

Anyways. I'm willing to take some bad service for smooth panels, so I wait and go bit by bit:anonymous:

My truck is going into the dealership tomorrow to have 3 recalls done, fuel pump, turn signal wiring harness and something else. Well, I'm sitting at a store and the truck won't start. Fucking ridiculous.

Slow day at work means I am able to take care of a few last-minute things before we haul the camper off to Iowa for a week.

I don't know why I put off installs on simple things. I've had this adapter off Etsy for dual power ports for the better part of 6 weeks. 5-minute install and now the kids won't fight over chargers on their ignore the family devices.

    Mighty Mouse rear power ports.jpg

Also installed my Hold My Beer Engineering (also from Etsy) under seat vent ports so I stop cooling/heating under the rear Weathertech liner and maybe keep the kids comfortable instead. Minor trimming on the factory vents was required to slip them over.

    Mighty Mouse rear vent ports.jpg

And just because I was bored, I added some new stickers I've been sitting on to the tailgate. The RCI, Colorado Toyota Tuning, OTT, Colorado Toyota Expo, CPW and Yellowstone are all new. The rest have been there a while. And yes, I know the truck is disgusting. I've been working 50-60 hour weeks since getting back from Yellowstone mid-June. Tonight, off to Iowa for a little more camping.

If the dealership doesn't already have a fuel pump. Reach out to Jim Norton Toyota in Tulsa, OK. They had one left on Friday. My dealer kept telling me that they are backordered and I randomly called them and they had two, which I bought one.

Mine left me at the gas station last Monday morning at 6:30 on the way to work.
