Looks like it has one of the unicorn master cylinders. I'd snag that as a spare if the price is right.

If it doesn't have the FA kit, I have a brand new never opened Lexus P/N: PT420-0009L that I'll trade you if you can get your hands on the map light, sunglasses holder assembly in the headliner.
EDIT: Looks like I'm a day late and a dollar short :anonymous:

Alright, my donor was much rustier than my truck which sucked but also made me feel better about mine. The bummer is most of the shit I wanted from the underside was basically junk and the hard line I needed was completely seized in the connectors on both ends.
I came away with a full set of minty manual cloth seats so I can toss my obliterated leather seats. Unfortunately the mouth breathers at the yard threw an oil soaked crossmember into the immaculate interior so hopefully I can get the oil out.
    IMG_0755.jpg
I also got a bedliner to go with my new tailgate. I was able to add another color to ol’ Methanie.
    Before
    IMG_0748.jpg
    After
    IMG_0749.jpg
Ass like a baboon (that receiver hitch is rusted in there which is why I needed another one)
    IMG_0750.jpg
I got a full set of not-fake-wood trim pieces and door buttons.
    IMG_0753.jpg
The dude that babysat me in the yard threw this in for $20
    IMG_0754.jpg
Finally, I filled a 5 gal bucket halfway with bolts, brackets and hardware I’m missing or are rusted to dogshit along with a receiver hitch and trailer harness and bracket.

Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.

A drill brush and an extractor will clean that seat right up.

    20230506_205407.jpg

That spot on the pass seat is oil. Came right out with hot water in the extractor.

Just know the HVAC controls aren't universally compatible, even within the same years and cab types, so test your A/C immediately after swapping out, and know someone here may want the woodgrain stuff, it's sought after.

Awesome, thanks. I have two little kids so a hardcore carpet cleaner was something we invested in a while ago. It’s been doing work on this truck. If that doesn’t cut it, I’ll bring out the big guns.

Right, that should be possible. Test for function first with the part you have, look at it for obvious differences. If all looks same, plop it in, snap the center dash on the truck without screwing it in, test it. If good, finish securing it and reward yourself with a cold one.

Yes I know but it's still hideous
On a positive note, it's not as bad as the GM fake. That shit was creaky, it would start making creaky noises as soon as you turned on the car

My LX has legit wood trim made in the factory where they make Yamaha pianos. Shit is seeeexay. That doesn’t belong in a truck. Fake plastic wood is like why even bother tho.

I saw this and wanted to see if you’re looking for the double cab map light and singles holder? I have a spare but one of the garage door buttons is broken.

Yes. AC or DC. I don’t really care. Mine is a base. It actually doesn’t have anything up in the headliner except for the one dome light. When I replace the headliner fabric, I want to fabricate installing that assembly there. Not necessarily trying to wire up anything other than map lights. According to the wiring diagram there should be a harness provisioned for map lights already. So a home link button not working is just fine for me

Damn I’m bummed I didn’t see this in time, the one in the JY was in amazing shape. Which is crazy because it rolled and they had to cut the roof most of the way off to get the guy out apparently.

Its the passengers airbag thing i believe.
I have a double cab limited, it came with the wood grain. I bought all the black stuff from an SR5 Sequoia (unknown year) but it had the same style dash as mine. I just swapped everything, all the plugs clock and all, and the passengers airbag thing was lit up, and the airbag and ABS lights were lit up on the dash.
I had to disassemble the dash piece and swap the airbag plug and lock mechanism from my Tundra wood grain dash and swap over to the sr5 black dash.

Interesting. This is from an 05 DC and mines an 06. We’ll see I guess. Hopefully that doesn’t affect the new seats I’m really excited about too
