Yeah decided against it. The card fabric is in great shape so no need really. Reason it crossed my mind was having the card disconnected because was working on the door check and broke the interior handle bezel removing the card. Figured it was unobtanium but turns out $10.50 gets a pair of FR and FL handles with trim. Good color match on the one needed, but the other handle appears to be a misship and looks like oak. Rainforest refund didnt require a return and hence no need to wait for replacement to ship. Only needed the bezel anyway. So unobtanium obtained ... for free.

@The Black Mamba did motivate cleaning of the center console however ... albeit with the usual dishsoap and water via toothbrush and rag regimen.

My vote is still the Chinese tires. I wouldn't touch anything else until you rule those out.

Ahem, they are made on the beautiful island of Taiwan. They are smooth in most other scenarios. Gets a little rumbly around 40mph, changes a little with acceleration vs deceleration, and then can occasionally feel it up around 70mph.

Did you have to double up on the brass bushing for the negative? I did. Used the one from the positive terminal since it didn't need it.

Most of my Suzukis are over 30 years old now and I plan on starting to switch them to SP plates as their registrations expire. I know a few people that run the special interest plates on their dailies and have never had a problem here.

Truck bed tent. I've seen other makes of the same style at local sporting goods stores.
Got it for free off a buddy. They gave it to him when he bought his Ram, had it left over after totaling his Ram.
First time I've used it so was double checking instructions. With two people I'd guess probably around 15 minutes. Easiest way to set it up is to put all but the door pole in first, then lift the tent into the bed and strap it down and secure the last pole over the door.
Folds up to the size of a normal largish dome tent and weighs about the same.

In the seat. Feels very driveline-y. Not the typical 60mph tire vibrations.

That and the variation makes it sound driveline, but ...

I didn't know about the double cardan. we yanked it apart at the shop and I wound up getting a driveshaft off of rockauto. It's been good for a while now. I've heard about swapping the double cardan out for a gm style one, but I didn't have the time to wait for it.

If its in the seat, one way to check is

jack the back end up, block it up good and put on jack stands and chock the front wheels.
have someone sit in the seat and put it in gear and run it up to the 40-50mph range
visually watch the tires and see if they have run-out meaning out of round. This makes the rear shake like crazy and there is no way to balance out anything more than a small amount of run-out. I have some walmark tires on my aluminum trailer and when its empty, at about 40-45 it will bounce up and down so bad you think its going to bounce off the road. The tires are egged and around that 40-50mph range its causing the fender to raise and lower about 3" but when you are 70+ its smoothed out.
You can visually see if the tire has run-out, if you dont trust the chocked wheels and jack stands you can pull the two rear wheels and have them run on a standard balance machine and visually watch them and see if they have run-out.

Installed a led whip mount that works with my camper shell. Just need to wire it up. Got it hooked up rn to a Milwaukee 12 V battery. It has a quick disconnect so removing it is very easy IMG_3039.jpg

Nice! I been running those on the front for like 5 years. Had em on the rear too for a few years, but ended up doing a u-bolt flip that came with bumpstops, when I bought my Alcan leaf packs. @Sirfive has my rear superbumps now, but hasn't used em yet.
Iirc I had to order the superbumps for a Tacoma. Is that what you did as well?

Im actually going to be installing them on my 1st gen Sequoia. Did you just install one on each side? Front rear bumpstops? How much lift do you have in the front? Most likely going to install the 2nd set in the GX.

Yes just one per side. I put em in the front front spot and left the front rears OEM.
I've got about 3" lift in front.
So does Wheelers make them for first gen Tundras and Sequoias now, or did you have to order em for a different Toyota, like I did?

Do you think it makes a different if there installed in the front or the rear. I only ask cause most I've seen are installed in the rear keeping the front oem.
