Yes, it stays in the app, but when I pull the Carfax report, my oil change is not reporting. However, the tire rotation that the dealer did and the reverse light recall show now.

Edit: I've just done some googling and the consensus out there is that diy records do not populate on the official report.

Thanks for the update. I didn't know this! I may need to figure out something else or just stop using Car Care. You would think it would log with Carfax... I do keep another excel sheet with my self records. Definitely don't want to be doing double work if it's not worth it.

Well, isn't that just a kick in the sack?
So it's just a fancy way to record it for the owner's use/reference and that's it?
    Dumb.

Programmed the slim key card for my rig. It worked great! Game changer for just having it in the wallet or phone carrier case.

You can totally do it yourself if you have Techstream. Here's my post if you're interested.

Totally agree! I'll just be sticking with my detailed sheet I've always had and drop the Car Care app.

Maybe there is a way to share your diy records?

I use a Google sheet myself. Easy to share too.

Is that easy to remove? Can you add a locking pin? I'm worried someone would steal it.

Yes, it is very easy to install, and yes you can use a locking pin with it.

You have the option of keeping it simple and using the push tabs it comes with. If you want to use a locking pin, you knock the tabs off and then you can run the pin through the housing. Instructions tell you to do that.

I had this pod and it was ok...the baja designs pod is brighter and wider but its also a bit more money and I dont think it has the brake light function.

Punched a hole in a tire and found out the spare was destroyed during factory installation, so got new tires today. BFG KO3 285/65/18 on stock rims for now.

yes to both questions, check out their install videos…. personally I wanted the extra brake light with the flash as it’s my daily and I’m always in heavy traffic with crappy distracted drivers so I figured it might help. Haven’t really used the reverse lights at night yet since install but seems plenty bright for my concrete jungle use.

Really straight forward, used an adjustable wrench to get the stock ones off, they weren’t very tight to begin with. You’ll have to jack up the truck a little bit to tighten the new bolts that come with the Durobumps up front. Try not to overtighten it, they come with thread locker on the bolts. Didn’t get them for the rear yet they’re a bit pricey and I’m less concerned bottoming out on the rear with the 2” lift on the back end. Definitely much nicer than the stock ones

    IMG_2155.jpg IMG_2156.jpg

I only had time to get the rear flaps on, grabbed a few quick pictures for you.

    IMG_2158.jpg

The front will take a little more DIY since I pushed the fender well liner back and used the westcott designs clearance brackets to hold the liner back further so the mount locations are slightly different on the inner liner area.

We had hail storms here before that destroyed parking lots full of cars. They had to use plows to get the hail off the road. It was big hail, took out businesses and all.

New coilovers / rear springs / shocks came in from the brown truck man today.

Process for swapping the rear coils out looks... Far too simple lol.

Messed around with my compression adjusters on the rear and found my sweet spot for daily driving. +4 in the front and 0 clicks in the rear. Silky smoof.

Anyone else have this crap? Two leaking coolant hoses. Only 5300 miles on the clock.

Not that I'm aware, however I keep catching whiffs of coolant after parking.

I'll have to dig in tomorrow. I'm also around 5k miles.

Passenger side. Bottom of the radiator. Peek around the skid plate. I also get a whiff of coolant occasionally after parking with a hot engine.
