Hi all; new ‘25 Limited didn’t come with bed lights. Anyone have the stock part numbers as well as switch? I’m pretty strong mechanically, but Is there anything tricky to it?

I have the same, there is no plugs so you will have to run wires and either catch them at the back(didnt have much luck) or run them into the cab of the truck to catch the cargo lights. You can also run them to a switch which all wires you need are behind the 7 way connector.

I wasn’t able to find a good spot to tap into. The cargo lights tap is too weak I tried that.

I ran straight from the battery and here’s my post on it.

You can run a relay if the wire is too small but the wire I found in the back was tied into the power tailgate and was touchy so when it sensed a voltage draw it stopped the tailgate. I’m going to catch it at the cargo switch and tie in there or the passenger kick may have a wire as well.

I just used chargeable cordless led lights. Mounted one on my tonneau cover underneath, works amazing and was dirt cheap and no wiring.

Easy to just start from scratch & install your own. I ran a wire from battery to a switch in back of bed, then added LED light strips to both sides. Cheap & simple, just takes a little time.20250215_120736.jpg

Where did you find those bed storage boxes sir? That’s a mod I would be interested in.

OEM bed lights are tapped into the cargo lights.

Tap power in at the N42 connector pin 9 or 10 and use the ground in P21 pin 2 or another ground of your choice of your choice.

This is interesting. I tried from NO3 where I found the power that came from the center stop light that has the LEDs that come on when the doors are open. For some reason I was not getting very strong illumination from the bed LEDs when I tapped into that. I really wanted to be able to control the bed lights with the switch that controls that rear center stop light.

My trim didn’t have the tailgate courtesy light where sounds like others have tapped into for the bed lights. I like what you’re suggesting though.

This is what i've decided to do. Just bought some cheap strip lights on Amazon and will run a 12v directly from engine compartment! Thanks!

Thanks for all the info and suggestions. I have a folding tonneau on the truck and want to get some lights under there, but its a once-in-a-while need, so I purchased some inexpensive NiLight strip LEDs and switch and will run them directly from battery area. Has an inline fuse, and since they're LED, the amp draw has to negligible. FYI: I did by an upgraded waterproof paddle switch, vs the little push button one that comes with it...so hopefully they'll be a little more durable.

I'll post how it goes, but its going to be very similar to Raven67's above. For the price...if it doesn't work well, I'm not worried.

    Thanks again all!

The rechargeable ones I have are motion detected and magnetic. No wires, no drilling, plenty of differnt light settings. Might be another option for ya as well.
