The new ones are coming from Jon B tomorrow, the old ones were in there super tight, I had to use a pick to get them out & it looks like there was something in there I cleaned out. I assume the new ones will be tough to get in properly.

That bolt fits properly, I'm wondering why one wasn't there to begin with. I'm assuming that is why it leaked.

    Thanks

Looks like there should be a bolt there. Also, for the O-rings I’d maybe just use a dab of non petroleum based grease to keep them in place on assembly.

There's a lot of truth to that saying no doubt!!
There's a huge difference between 95 in South Texas and 95 in Vegas.
Although the 95 in Vegas will dehydrate you way quicker and you dont even realise it's happening.
95 in South Texas and you're sweating buckets and you definitely know it's happening since you're soaked in sweat!!
Went a visited a Buddy in Vegas and my lips were cracking and bleeding like a stuck pig!!
Couldnt wait to get back to the humidity!!!
The further I drove South the bigger the relief!!!
Never thought I would say thank God for the Humidity!!!

I've made that mistake once. Whole tank with low grade. Had shit tons of knock so bootane and taking it easy was the ticket. It was rough staying out of boost but the boostane helped tremendously. Now I'm locked an loaded.

Sometimes when its real hot i throw some in for knock protection. I can watch knock feedback drop......granted 91 is the highest grade i can find near me.

I installed the Harrop tensioner I bought from ViktorG, belt still slips, but not as bad. @Jowett , do you happen to know of a larger idler pulley that will work with our engine?

Pull the idler and go to a parts store and they should be able to find matches. They all use common size bearings, so it's really a matter of making sure the pulley offset is correct. On my LSA I was able to find a handful of pulleys and even trimmed the backside on some to clear, and then I could adjust two idlers to get the tension dialed in. Likewise good chance on the tensioner you can swap that pulley out.

I need to do that with the 2650 idler. Get a little more slack in the belt with the 76 pulley

I hope ya find something that works! If only they made a size belt in between those two. I was just trying to research for you in that regard. Seems to be a more difficult hurdle than I’d have guessed using the 1” AES spacers and matching a belt. If only they made a 1/2” option.

It’s alarming how tight the belt is with the 76. But she doesn’t slip at least

Yeah, I didn't think it would be this difficult to find a belt that works, but there may be a solution with the larger idler or tensioner pulley.

And if that doesn't work ASP can re cut one for you. I was just talking with him today ordering a water pump pulley and about a 7 inch crank pulley. Mentioned belt adjustments and said he can re-cut the idler pullies too.

I found a 2013 tension pulley that fit to get me an extra 1/8 inch. I stopped searching but many can be found as @snivilous stated.

Guess we should build the engine first then add on...I'm a bit backwards though.

    Many on the way.
As Sniv says, parts store. You can also look through various Toyota models (other makes too) at webpages like Rock Auto under the belt drive idler pulley section. Many of the pulleys list width and diameter. If something really HD is desired, timing belt idler pulleys are worth looking at. @Sniv could probably whip up custom a custom outer ring in either smooth or ribbed to increase the diameter of the timing belt pulleys.

This is for a V6 Camry.

Is it odd a heavy oil came out of my internal intercooler brick? Smelled like low viscosity gear oil, felt like about 60 weight, was a small amount (I left it draining on it's side overnight trying to get all the coolant out) prior to cleaning it up, it had some dried Toyota red coolant in the vanes I cleared out.

Also, also, is the black coating coming off the impellers an issue?

Really been eyeballing the 70mm lately...thought someone was running it on their 2650 but can't seem to remember whom.

That is odd to have oil in there. You can try flushing it out with hot distilled water?
Over time the leading edges of the rotors can wear. Also as they don't make contact, in time with each other its good. Could your air filter let in fine particle sand? Any evidence in your filter? Just thinking but is not a big issue as it happens especially in dusty environments. Sometimes the good old Wix paper or stock paper stops dust better than after market ones.
