Aloha, just like the post says. I bought my son (15) a 2002 AC 4x4. Needs lots of suspension work! It has a lift (don't know what kind) and a body lift of some sort. Needs new suspension (that's why I am here) and lots of bushings. Ordered the extended travel CVs (Napa) and have them sitting in my garage. I want to get the complete suspension package before we start ripping stuff apart. Ordered new 5100s (front and back), but we are having trouble with the coils/springs. I have no idea where to find what we should be using. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome! You've got really nice upper control arms so somebody put some money into it. Can you measure from the center of the hub to the fender on all 4 corners? I want to see how much lift you'll need before suggesting which coils.

They have rusted vehicles in Hawaii? I would’ve thought most of the rust would be superficial.

    Welcome, BTW.

I guess it’s hard to comprehend growing up 3 miles from the beach and only worrying about snow salt.

How about a block away.....lots of rust...lots and lots of rust! Plenty of sandpaper and black rattle cans.
