How do I get access to the AC compressor is it like the Tacoma/Sequoia where you access it by the driver wheel well. Also wheres the high pressure refrigerant valve?

Bottom left of engine compartment bay in front is the compressor (when sitting in driver seat). Back right near the wiper motor and power steering reservoir is the AC fill valve.

    Pro tip:

    Go here: https://www.tundras.com/threads/so-you-wanna-buy-just-bought-a-1st-gen-tundra-eh.115928/

Search for the phrase “service manual” near the top of the 1st page.

    Click that link.
    Click your year range.
Click the download button in your browser.

Now you have your own personal copy of the factory service manual that gives you all diagnostic and maintenance info in the palm of your hands. With this, being cautious to always note the header of the page which says “5VZ” or “2UZ” for the engine type so you know the info pertains to your engine, you will always know where your part of interest is, and how to work on it or test it.
