Took my old grill to the dump because obviously nobody wants it. 6,280 lbs with me in the truck with a full tank of gas. More than I was expecting.

Where are people ordering Heritage grills from w.o 300+ in shipping?

I did the swap on my Tacoma and loved it, going to do the same on the Tundra.

It arc'd a couple of times when I shut the hood but haven't had any issues so far....

Kidding. That was just testing prior to using connectors, heat shrink, and conduit. If I took a picture of the button'd up splice it wouldn't show anyone anything. The point of that picture is for someone that has a CanM8 and is trying to figure out how to wire it to interrupt the relay power and trigger.

Here's what it currently looks like. Not really helpful showing the order of connections

Did you have to take the whole dash apart, or does that trim just pop off?

Started my trucool 40k trans cooler install. Bent some 4in flat corners and drilled two holes to mount the cooler. Now I gotta install the lower straps and its ready to plumb.

There are several YouTube videos on how to remove the pieces you are asking about. It took me less than 10 minutes to do the console trim.

Took 5 min. Or less. The two side panels pop off by hand & a small plastic pry tool to remove that trim, which slides back toward the rear of truck.

As far as the 3 pieces on dash, I'm not sure.

You should be able to pick any tire size on the website.

I had my Toyota dealership do them. They also did my 2" lift. No issues.

So it seems like the consensus is to mount in the middle of the grill rather than offset. Cool. Makes my life easier with the derale unit i've got collecting dust at the house.

I just go with whatever is easier. I did one on my parents Nissan Juke and that was offset just because of ease of installation.

We had one of those...fun car to drive...CVT was a nightmare...got rid of it right before our 1st son was born....the trans would whine like crazy if you were driving hard. Fluid swap helped, but those are ticking time bombs.

Lol...yup. Mom wanted one so my brother and I got her a used Nismo for her birthday about 7yrs ago. First thing my pops and I did was a fluid change and trans cooler. That one summer month they had it was bad....had to stop multiple times because it would go into limp mode driving down the highway. Cooler and fluid took care of that and its been fine since. Got it with 60 or 70k. Had 140k last time I asked.

Vendor website is linked in my post.

I didn't see anything listed with them of 2018 Tundra.
Gimme a minute and I'll search on here and get back with you.

The last time I heard the term 'buffoonery' was in the 80's. Love it.
