I just completed this on my '19 along with a drain and fill, 44k on the odo, I used a Hayden 679. The trans fluid was definitely pretty cooked, looked brown in the jug with a dark red appearance on a paper towel, 4 qts came out during the drain. I was hitting 220-230F on the reg, no towing, no extra weight, 275 tires, havent taken it for a full test drive yet but I am looking forward to running cooler trans temps. I fabbed up my own bracket and ran the cooler lines next to the PS reservoir to the back of the engine bay, then down the front crossmember. It took me around 6 hours with fabbing and a few trips to the hardware store for bolts.

I have a 2020 and the hardlines were also the worst part. They simply did not line up...not even close. I bent the bracket at the alternator and that did the trick. I was confused why it was so hard being these are made for the truck....2020 problems eh ?

I did a test run on the hardline on my 2021 and it literally took me 10 mins top to get it in and bolt on.. toughest was the bracket at the alternator, had to push the line toward the rear of the truck for it to line up, maybe 2-3mm max off set.. once push the line toward the rear and while holding pressure, the bolt went in..
I took it off after knowing and seeing how it went in. I have an appointment on the 15th for an oil leak inspection. Possibly timing cover leak.

i did a similar thing to this on the Sequoia years ago. I was waiting for the hard lines so installed with just hoses, I never installed the hard lines.
