@ATBAV8 might be my mechanic

He looked up the diagrams for Fog Light Switch and found you were all correct, I have the wrong turn signal stalk installed.

He saw i fixed everything else (and that i slapped his shop sticker on my bumper :)) and said “you ain’t gonna ever getting pulled over for no fog lights”

    Passed inspection, yeehaw thanks everyone!

Bringing it back to this fella to get the neutral safety switch replaced next, and replace the differential and transfer case oil.
Tried myself, but couldn't get any of the plugs to budge

@Fragman may need to chime in. I know on the earlier years, there's a fog relay in the engine bay to change, may not be the case on your '06.

I found @BluegrapeVr6's reply on the subject here: https://www.tundras.com/threads/fog...unction-switch-installed.150125/#post-3748701

That shows one under the hood, but again - he's earlier year, different cab type, different switch location, different bumper, different fogs, so it probably won't be the same for you.

Yea , why they changed the schematics so much is strange...( coming from a audi guy) i guess early CAN buss was still rolling in back then. Super simple for us early guys. But other elec gremlins are hard to chase down on these trucks.

Dont get me started on the alarm system. It works, but holy heck. What a rats nest.

The relay for mine was on the rear of the fuse box by the drivers knee. Mine was also already there, which was unexpected. That's on a 2006 DC SR5, with the tow package. I did not have to mess with any fuses or relays in the engine bay. It was basically a matter of getting the correct muti-function switch, then getting the right fog lights. 15 minutes installation and done.

One thing I discovered is that the DC needs Sequoia fog lights. Both AC/RC Tundra and Sequoia lights will 'fit', but on the DC, the hole that the adjustment knob goes through is of a larger diameter than the AC/RC, so the lights will flop around a little.

Added pics to show the difference.
