I want to say there is a "master" fuse that you need to check. Not sure if under hood or in cab.
    Good luck!

Tow the truck to dealer, let step-daddy fix on his dime since he f**ked it up.

I think you are on the right track. You can't get the truck out of park if you have a bad brake lights.

Double check the cab fuses. They are a pain to get to, but meter each fuse for conductivity.

You say no lights or brake lights, do you mean no headlights & parking lights or no interior lights? And the warning lights on the dash check good when you turn the key on but don’t light up when you start the truck?

It seems like when this has happened in the past on this forum it often blows one of the main fuses (150-180 amp). But that usually would cause more issues than just lights.
