Parts and upgrades from dealer or shops?

The calipers definitely try painting them yourself. If you have any questions ask @boardude. The TRD dual exhaust you should work into the deal. I believe they run about $1000. Try to haggle it down a little and definitely don't pay for install. It should take them like 30 minutes on a lift. Same thing with the sway bar, I think they run about $200-250. That is even easier to install so get them to install for free. Actually, try to get them to throw the sway bar in for free with the truck. Oh, and Samoan Thor isn't in Hawaii but @PaulROahu is. He is a mod monster.

Dood, Hawaii has a monster selection of Toyota enthusiasts mostly tacos but I’m sure there are some tundreians. Use yelp and it can show you some good shops there or good old google, use a manual like Haynes, Chilton or TIS Toyota. You’ll learn better doing things on your own reading from a manual or using the World Wide Web, I’m in CA by the way. I was stationed at wheeler Army airfield and I miss Hawaii but at least CA has L&L Hawaiian BBQ . There are no Polynesian food restaurants on the right coast booooooo (yawn......) k goodnight

A skip and hop through a mountain from me. I barely ever go that route. It's interesting; for such a small island, you can go years without ever needing to go to a certain area.

 

She's military....she tried extending and they denied it. her and her hubby love it there

If you ever come, plan the trip to be to one of the neighboring islands (Maui or Kauai). Oahu has it's moments, but the other islands are where it's at.
