    Congrats!

You skipped a few steps though. Did you do the install yourself? How was that? What about the ECU programming?

Took my oldest son (5) on his first camping trip in it last weekend. He thought sleeping in the back of the truck was the coolest thing ever!

The setup with a Napier truck bed tent and Airbedz mattress was great too.

Oh, and I needed to change a back-up light bulb, so it would have been senseless not to upgrade to some '10-13 tail light assemblies while I was at it...right? Someone had an OEM used pair for sale cheap on FB Marketplace, so I figured why not?

You win a "you suck" award for scoring that steller deal.

Just so we are clear, that is a compliment.

    Nice score.

Just an oil change, tire rotation and greased the propeller. Don't have to do much even at 254,000. I love my 07 CM LTD.

snapped the zerk fitting off the front U-joint of my 4WD driveshaft. the grease gun was stuck and i couldn't get it off for what seemed like forever. i tapped on it with a screwdriver and a rubber mallet and it just snapped right off. fack. how hard is it to replace the whole U-joint? going greaseless this time.

They are quite easy to change. Getting the entire drive shaft out is 5 minutes. Getting it in another set of hands makes it easier.

Before going that route, buy a cheap set of easy outs. You may be able to remove the zerk nipple from the u- joint and install a new zerk. They are cheap.

It’s not that hard if you don’t know what you’re doing; but if you mishape the yolk by beating on it too much you can f it up; also mark the drive shaft so it stays in lined to make sure it stays balanced

also make sure the c clips are perfectly seated or they’ll come out and the u-joint will fall out

The Magnuson is a dream come true. It's been on my radar for a long time. It's every bit the cat's neow! Haven't turned on the radio in the truck since the install. My truck makes beautiful music by itself.

I replaced the rear bumper on my 2012 Rock Warrior with a brand new Toyota replacement bumper. It was cheaper to get the brand new one than to have the original one taken off, cleaned up and resprayed. Anyway, now I have to clean up the rest of the truck to make it look as good. Don't mind the dust on the bumper already.... I live on a mile long gravel road.1000003678.jpg

Nice. I dented mine this winter doing some piss poor driving. Gonna leave it be for now but it does bother me slightly.

I need a new rear bumper. Do you mind me asking how much did Toyota charge for that rear bumper?

Total, installed was right at $500. Realistically, I was just lazy. The original bumper had surface rust on it. I was just too lazy to pull the bumper off and strip it. I probably could have removed the original, had it media blasted and then rattle canned it for $200-300. That said, I've had several projects going here on my land that took precedence.

When I swapped my taillight assemblies a couple weeks ago, the old bolts were rusty and one was stripped so bad I had to turn it with pliers to get it out. So, just a small thing but I got a new set of them and now they make everything else look its age...might have to replace some more hardware around the tailgate soon.

New brakes and rotors front and rear.

Also bought a set of brackets to install my front reservoirs above the shocks. However I’m not sure about the clearance if the upper control arm moves up. If I decide to stay with this setup I’ll get longer hoses to route through the control arms. If not, I may locate them towards the front of the frame vs the back of the wheel well like they were before.

Finally installed rock lights, 5 each side, from last year. Triggered by the footwell door lights/fob/unlock and a separate switch to turn em off or on independently. Used negative switched wired solid state relay with a diode. Also an independent switch to have on without door open. A oil change with my 5w-40/30, 5qts each, mix and a new wix 51516xp filter. Switched up to 16qts of AISIN 0WS atf from the DEX3 I was running. Will try type T-IV next time. Installed a relay box to try an tidy up my wiring mess.

That’s an excellent question, it always does that, maybe because it actually has clear coat on it, or maybe I don’t turn passenger as much to try and get over something

Put a new battery in my Tundra today. I'd noticed that it was not starting quite as easily, and then it flat died on me yesterday. (Got a jump from a young man that happened to be in the parking lot). Swapped the new one in, and all is much better in the world.

Over the past couple months I’ve replaced my suspension, front and rear brakes and rotors, front dust covers, and this morning I replaced the rear bumper bc my OEM chrome with plastidip had finally started peeling. Still not sure I’m keeping that reservoir location on front.

It’s definitely too close for my liking, but it’s not as close as this angle/photo makes it look. Suspension is also pretty stiff so not much movement either. Will definitely locate to the frame area in front
