I'm finding new OEM door handles for the front but none for the rear. I've tried a couple of OEM parts dealers with no luck.

Anyone know of a dealer that has these?

I'm sure I can hit up a junkyard but they seem to want the same price as new.

I loaded a random ass VIN for a 2006 Double Cab into the EPC site using this brainlessly easy part lookup info, because I think you'd have to be a crazy motherfucker to actually rely on Toyota's parts system to look up your part numbers, it rarely ever gets the right part numbers.

I came up with this exploded diagram, for that random 2006 double cab VIN: https://toyota-usa.epc-data.com/tundra/uck41/3812/body/6756/?frame_no=5TBDT44126S526762&full

Note: That truck's VIN is for a "spectra blue" truck. I don't have your VIN so I can't look up the part number for your exact color code.

I notice the part numbers (left/LH and right/RH are linked via numbers in the top-right corner), end in J2 for the truck I picked, those last two digits (J0/J1/J2/etc.) indicate the painted color of the door handle. When I run that part number thru Toyota's parts system, it appears this is the passenger rear and this is the driver rear with a "J0" part number.

"J0" and maybe even "J2" in Toyota terms is apparently "blue". It's possible Toyota is discontinuing the product in the near future, similar to what they've done for other interior latches which is why J0 (which I assume is maybe black/primered?!) is no longer available. It's also possible they only have J2 in stock because it's such a rare color and they've got that in surplus only. I know with a lot of interior parts now, they send you beige regardless what color code you choose in the catalog.

Thank you. Tried it but coming up as "no suggestions found."

    Discontinued?

Checked the part number I got using your suggestion....Ebay comes up with a Sequoia handle.

Do Tundra and Sequoia outside door handles in 2006 interchange?

They do share a lot of other stuff, so that would make sense.

That's good, thanks. Having a problem though....called 3 junkyards just now. Two trucks were already crushed and the other all the parts I wanted were sold already.

*Funny, the lady just now asked "what happened to your door handles?" I replied "crack heads aren't doing the catalytic converters anymore, they are getting door handles." She said "really?" Of course I told her I was joking and what I'm really up to.

I'll go ahead and get what new door handles I can now and find whatever rear door handles I can find used later.

Shoot! I never thought about these junkyards crushing stuff! :annoyed:

    **Edit**

Just ordered two rear door handles off an '04 Sequioa out of Texas. :)
