    @thefish712...
Thankfully 95% of the above queries are solved [somewhat] in the Tundra FieldServiceManual [great illustrations], which is linked via @Shifty in his 'so you wanna buy a FGTundra`...[search "FSM" in that thread]. The other 5% likely fr/the brain trust here.
The most valuable info iv found here is LBJs, TBelts, Trans maint... and always TRY to buy Toyota built parts...
The FSM is comprehensive, searchable and printable [caution: near 5000 pgs] depending on your PDF reader.

BTW: Thx for the tour of your FGT...you might b pleased to hear, near 4yrs after your acquisition, i paid near $10k for mine last MemorialDay...theyre not depreciating...
and not yet repainted, but iv got near $4000 in suspension, TB, cooling, tires, body parts... all Toy or Denso... I pulld a 5000#+ boat/trailer few times already and feels as secure as the Ram2500 i used a halfdozen times..
I shoulda replaced my '01 Taco 5 yrs bk...

When it comes to regreasing the zerks, should I be popping the zerk open after pumping grease in and hopping up and down on the rear of the truck for each and every zerk point (sorry if that's not what they're called)? I know I've got to do it for the rear yokes, but what about the other 6 points?

Ran it for 20+ minutes, cap off. Didn't see too much water moving, but maybe it's hard to tell? It was definitely hot. Had heater on full blast as well

    Only the slip yoke.

The others, grease should squeeze out from just under each cap of the u-joint. Wish I had a link to that ChrisFix u-joint video. Greatly dislike the guy, but it's great for newbs.

Yeah, that'd be great. But alas, it sounds like it's lost.

Is it possible to overfill? And how do I avoid that?

I had a hell of a time trying to find a video that shows the process of a standard u-joint. But essentially, you're doing four things every time:
    1. CLEAN the zerk, wiping off thoroughly with a shopcloth is ample. You don't want to force dirt into the joint
    2. Gun should be loaded with a good moly-fortified grease like Palladium #2 or similar ... Before greasing your first joint, always test 6-8 pumps to ensure grease is coming out; airlocks can happen, where nothing will pump out of your gun, YouTube can help with solving that
    3. Then lock on the zerk and start pumping, the grease should disappear into the joint
    4. With every zerk except the slip yoke (#B in your picture), continue pumping until you see grease exiting around the perimeter/base of the 4 round caps** then wipe up all the excess grease so it doesn't sling all over everything, including yoru exhaust, which may stink later
** You should be greasing roughly every oil change; If you haven't greased in 10k+ miles, I'd continue pumping until you see new grease coming out of the base of the caps. Otherwise, pumping until you see about a teaspoon or so of fresh grease is genuinely enough.
1st video shows general process. See the 2nd video here on how a U-joint works, so you understand what's happening inside the joint when you do this.

Thanks for sending all of this. Again, very helpful. It was raining today so hopefully tomorrow I can get some time back under the truck. We SoCal guys melt in the rain...

Update time: still working on the coolant! Classic, getting a 2 hour job done in 10 hours lol tbf, rain has been a killer.

I flushed out the system with hose water, then drained it. Still pretty green all around. Then filled and refilled with distilled water. Well worth it as it was pretty clear coming out this time. Doing one more fill/drain of distilled water (waiting on engine to cool and rain to hold off), then adding in the fresh 'Yota coolant and burping the system. Surely I will have further questions on burping the air out, but one step at a time

    Thanks again yins for everything!

If you have one of those easy up canopies, you can make a small shelter over the front of the truck to give you respite from the evil rain while you work. Mini tent of pain

Alright, finally finished. Ran the truck for 20ish minutes with the cap off so it should have all the air bubbles out. Think I’m good to go on this job…

the truck already seems that much happier, I just know it

Greasing these u-joints. Are there 8 different zerks to shoot grease into? I didn't see that many when I initially checked it out, but they could have been hidden

See the picture you posted. There will be a zerk at each of those locations, four at "A", three at "B", and one at "C". If you don't immediately see it, it may be rotated out of sight 180°.

Maybe I'm confused by this photo... but it looks like 4 A's in total, spread out along the shaft, then 1 B, and 3 C's in the middle

Yeah I got my Bs and Cs backwards, but I'm moderately dyslexic so it's expected.

    It's like the J5 sang it, A-C-B, it's easy as 2-1-3...
