First off, I want to give out a Big THANK YOU to this Forum and everyone on here who have been great and helpful.

I am not a engineer, nor a mechanic, nor am I on here to discredit Toyota, as I am a long time Toyota owner.

I only found out about the continuing engine failure on these Tundras on March 1, 2025
I do not own a 'smart' phone and never did and stopped watching TV and News about 4 years ago.

I am not a social networking type of individual as I am older and car ownership began in the 60's and 70's and would like my 1969 Grand Prix and my 1970 GTO back.

I am a long time Toyota Owner, love Toyota vehicles and especially TUNDRAS = like many on here, we want a TUNDRA = GREAT Truck

Research as much as you can and then decide on your own, for yourself = You may have a GREAT Tundra = I do not know and cannot tell you either way, yes or no.

Many people are not having major problems and that is a good thing.

When I went to buy a New 2025 Tundra I was basing my decision on my previous RELIABLE Tundras = 2013 , 2016 , 2018 = all GREAT Tundras with zero issues.

    IMHO
#1 - The engine failure reporting began in 2022 and continued into 2023 and 2024 and now some current 2025 models are also experiencing engine failure with one report at 1,582 miles.
#2 - One report that i have found shows a NEW engine replacement, installed by Toyota, blew up after only 500 miles!!!
#3 - The most dangerous aspect is that this can occur, and has for some owners, while driving on the highway at speeds of 50mph and greater = Research NHTSA
#4 - There are many owners having very good success with no engine failure.
#5 - If you decide to keep your Tundra it may be a good idea to purchase a Toyota Care Extended Warranty from Toyota - not from a third party
#6 - I am a long time Toyota Owner, love Toyota vehicles and especially TUNDRAS = like many on here, we want a TUNDRA = GREAT Truck
#7 - I will buy another Tundra if Toyota can resolve this engine failure and restore my confidence.

#8 - You may have a GREAT Tundra = I do not know and cannot tell you either way.

EVERY engine manufacturer has a handful of engine failures soon after delivery.
Even with the '22 & '23 issues included with well over 400K built the failure rate is less
than 4000 trucks. ( Less than 1% ). So relax and enjoy your new truck.

Just a little note - the Toyota recall is for 100,000 Tundras and more as it is a open recall.

Agree. But a very small percentage of those 100K have failed. They’re being changed proactively.

Can you pass this Message to @Tundra family as i have not been on this forum long enough to do so.

Been there quite a few times.

Our hope is in the love of God that sustains us especially when all that we hoped for and trusted in comes crashing down and is blown away by the wind.

Without God i would of succumbed to the Lymes Disease which wrecks havic/PAIN in my body for 40 years and counting. By His mercy i continue onward.

Without God i would of succumbed to cancer at the age of 45. By His mercy He healed me and i continue onward.

God delights in showing Mercy and Mercy Triumps over judgment.
