    Hey guys!!
Drove out to Eastern Washington from Montana to pick up this beauty this past weekend! It's been a long time coming and I could not be more excited!
All the big ticket stuff have has been done, with paperwork, LBJ, timing belt etc!! She's a beaut with 136xxx on the clock.
I am planing a very practical build on this truck to be the ultimate daily driver/camper special/ski, surf, mountain bike rig.

    The plan as of now:
-5100's with Toytec 650lbs coils up front
-5100's with Toytec AAL in the back
-Suspension Maxx extended sway bar end links
-Only looking for around 1.5 to 2 inches of lift to keep MPG somewhat acceptable
    -Method 701's 17x8.5 0mm offset
-255/80/R17 pizza cutters (not sure which ones yet. Id love some feedback if you got any)
-The elusive mid rise topper that hopefully doesn't leak(god help me with this one)
-Front seat swap from the current buckets to a 60/40 bench

Pics are from the day I picked er up. More photos coming soon!

What a great looking truck, great find. Welcome to the forum!
Nice to have two of the major Killers done already (LBJ-timing belt)
Inspect and fluid film the frame (Montana you prob have salt on your roads)
I'm a bench seat guy too, and that would be a swap I'd do if I had buckets.
    More pics, we like pics

Congratulations! What's in the name @meatwizard ? I didn't see flatbed conversion with an offset smoker on that to do list (yet) :D

@The Black Mamba weird combo of words, always thought it was funny.

And I think this will be the final form of the truck.

Some updates from this week. I removed the running boards and found a beater topper for 150 bucks to keep the snow out and to use until I find a better option. My wheels, tires and all suspension parts are here so everything will go on this weekend!IMG_6964.jpg

One tire lined up albeit heavily raised in comparison by the snow. 255/80 R17 Yokohama Geolander AT4

Toytec 650lb Springs with 5100's on all four corners plus a Toytec AAL. I am also adding some Suspension Maxx sway bar end links (extended). I think my lower control arms are good and both ball joints are good(replaced w/ OEM 25K ago). If there is anything else you guys think I should tackle while m under here let me know.

Very nice find on the topper. I enjoy my truck better without running boards. However, after having them on for 17 years, I hoped out for the first time after taking them off and without thinking stepped down like normal and went straight down to the concrete. That was fun

Bolting everything together is the fun part. That's a great looking truck.

    Big update!!

The Toytec Ultimate kit is in and looks awesome.

    Pre lift
    IMG_7019.jpg
Luckily a buddy of mine works as a Tech at a Subaru shop so we could use the lift and all his tools

    New parts laid out!

    IMG_7021.jpg

    IMG_7022.jpg
It was a huge pain getting the front assembly in. If anyone ever installs this kit, putting the springs at the lowest height and using a concerning amount of force with pry bars was the only way to get the bottom eyelet lined up. I also found setting ride height on these shocks is a pain. 24 exposed threads on the bottom gave me just over an inch and half of height.

    Beer helps!!

I am selling all of the take off parts so if anyone wants some beater stock 17s and some clapped out suspension let me know lol.
