Hey Gang! Literally just took delivery of my 2024 Sequoia today. Never owned anything Toyota before, need some help.

I’ve looking at wheels and tires for this thing, can’t roll stock too long.

what is the biggest tire package I can throw on a stock rig? I want to do 35s, I assume that will require a level kit? Planning fuel wheels with Nitto Trail Grapplers. Wheel size 20x10s with 35x12.5 is what I want… at least for now.

Need some help from the Toyota community.

    Congratulations and welcome
2024 Platinum off road package here that came with 265/60 r20
Just swapped with Revo3 275/65 on the same wheel. Is literally a 34" tire vs 32.5" stock
No rubbing and I did not have to remove anything.
If you want a bigger tire you need to change the wheels to a a lesser possitive offset, +35 or something close. Also need to remove most likely the bracket behind the front wheels that holds the splash guard.

Thanks!! I talked to the guys at Wescott, they said the level kit will support 35s, but a positive offset wheel of +18-20 is the ideal offset per those boys. Now I’m back to the wheel search for something that falls within that range.

I believe they are down south and they don’t have to worry about salt and muck in the winter but +18 will push that wheel out a lot. Almost an inch. This is with +35. Sticks out just a little and I had to install the splash guards otherwise the truck would get pretty dirty in winterIMG_1475.jpg IMG_1474.jpg

'23 Sequoia here with a Westcott lift. It fits 35s with absolutely no trimming. It rubs a slightly at full lock.

Thanks @virgilus11! I do prefer some tire to show outside the wheel wells. The higher the negative offset the father out the wheel will hang, so a positive offset should sit pretty mild. Learned this from my years of owning Jeeps.

@luwig- that’s nasty looking love that. What width are those tires?

Which Wescott list did you end up going with? Also, what covert bumper?

You should be fine with a 33" tire. Is barely 3/4" bigger than stock.
The only thing you really want to consider is the -18mm offset. This will push the wheel out pretty good.
I believe the oem wheels are +60mm plus the -18mm these wheels have,,, you will move that wheel about 2 1/2" out.
Take a piece of wood and a tape. Locate that piece of wood about 2 1/2" away from the wheel and you will see how far out they will poke.
Nothing wrong with poking out, personnel choice, but pending of where you live,,, this will mess up your paint pretty good if you live in the north.
Good luck and post some pics

35x12.50x18 +20 offset. Did have to do some trimming. If you did a +30 offset you would probably have to trim less.

OP, you own a TRD Pro with a nice wheel so 295/70/18 OR 35/12.5/18 would do it.

Aren't you not liking your Pro wheels?

All great looking vehicles! I’m looking to do the same. The stock tires are not cutting it. I lm LOVING the +20 offset.

@Runn4est Was that on stock suspension?

Thank you, yeah this is fully stock trd off-road. I have 2 4runners on big tires, one that I exclusively wheel, so I'm not shy about trimming. I really like the OEM + look on the Sequoia. With the +20 offset, I had to trim about 1/4 inch off the top of the inner fender flares. For good measure I rolled the lip of the fender a little, but I think that was unnecessary. I also spoke with durobumps and their offering is about 1/2 inch taller stop, so that could potentially eliminate any full compression rubbing all together. I currently only rub a smidge at high speed dips and bumps.

That’s some good info! So maybe I might do a westcott leveling kit, to avoid all the trimming.
It’s so hard to find good information on these 3rd gen sequoias!

Thank you, I appreciate that. They're Fuel D664 in 18x9 +20. As I mentioned earlier, you will have to trim some, so as long as that doesn't bother you, this size rim looks great. I think it's the perfect amount of poke.

What the hell kind of hacking did you have to do to get those to fit?

No hacking. Rear fits perfect. Test fit with 39s I had for another vehicle so those could fit. Liner mount unbolts in front and removed tire horn just to be safe.

38" mud Knobbs lightly rub on stabilizer bar at full lock. Thats it. Never full lock at any appreciable speed.

Eibach springs for the oem foxes and 37x12.5 will fit perfectly all day. Offset them out and u f everything up...

I'm considering ordering a 2025 1794 for my wife and immediately installing the icon 3" lift with icon 17" wheels and 35x12.50x17 tires. I'm concerned that her car would no longer fit in our 7' tall garage opening. Can any of you who have a similar setup tell me overall height?

Looks like factory height is 78, so, 4 inches more than that, puts you at 82 inches, which is just below your mark. The width of these trucks are what get me. I can't fit in my garage because it's too wide.

Nothing, Toyota makes it very difficult if not impossible to do. Just remember that you'll be going a little faster than your speedo says. You'll also travel more than what the odo says.

The Toyota speedo is off a couple miles an hour from the factory, a couple sizes up on the tires puts it dead on. This has been true with every Toyota I've had.
