Does the 2021 1794 model come standard with ability to remote start with the key fob?

    I’m seeing mixed reviews/feedback when I google.

I’ve tried the 3 click method with the Feb fob at different distances, speeds, and length of times holding the button on the 3rd click but nothing seems to work.

    any suggestions/feedback?

Try it like this: Press on the key fob Lock, Lock and then hold the Lock on the 3rd press. There will be a beep on each press of the lock button. It takes a few seconds for it to start. You do not need to have Toyota remote connect activated for this to continue to work. Please note that when you open the door, the engine will shut off.

The feature may be present even if it doesn’t work now. I had a 2020 Camry with remote start that stopped working after the battery was replaced. The dealer has to re-initialize the feature using whatever version of TIS is being used.

Still works on my 21’ Limited so I don’t see why it wouldn’t work on your 1794. Takes a few tries to get the timing of the lock presses down, but then it becomes habit.

So I went through the same thing. I got my 2021 truck brand new in Nov 2023 with 100 miles on it. The 3 click method did not work no matter how many times I tried. Since the truck was new I was able to activate all the free apps and remote capabilities and one of them through the app was to be able to start the truck remotely from my iPhone. As soon that was enabled then I was able to use the remote with the 3 clicks. My apps and all those things expired but I am still able to use the remote with 3 clicks. So I think the service have to be activated with Toyota HQ somehow.

Fob remote start expires after 3 years unless you want to pay the monthly remote connect service. Mine stopped working early December.

Wife got me an accessorides pnp kit, but ironically the weather has been to cold and wet to install it.

What kit did she get you? Check to see whether "take over" option is available with that kit, otherwise every time you unlock and open the door, the truck will shut off.

Huh. Mine still works. I even called and opted out of connected services right away when I bought it in Sept 2020.

I did some testing detailed in this thread:
2021 Tundra Factory remote start stopped working | Page 2 | Toyota Tundra Forum

In short for it to work for me I needed to be logged into the Toyota app (I do not pay for subscription, says "Remote Subscription Expired" when I open the app) and the Connected Services Master Data Consent needed to be accepted. Tried it logged out of the app and with the Connected Services Master Data Consent declined and in both cases the key fob remote start stopped working.
