Will a heavier c rated tire ride better than a lighter rated e tire?

It will allow more sidewall flex on a C vs E. E will hold more weight and needs the stiffer sidewall and construction to do so.

The C should be more flexible and be better able to soak up some shock from the road better then the E.

The extra weight will not help your MPG's though.

If you need the extra weight capacity then a C or E is the way to go. If your closer to a P rated tire then maybe a XL load would work better as it's closer to a P rating but with a little extra capacity

appreciate the feedback. I’m hunting down 35s or 34s and I’ve been looking at the Falken at4w and the Toyo at3. Toyos are lighter, but only e. And falken has c but heavy. I won’t be towing, most I’ll see is fire roads to get to some of my fishing spots.
