Try a New Glarus Raspberry Ale or Cherry Ale. Or maybe a Liennie’s berry weiss or honey weiss or one of their Shandy’s. Not meaning to be frufru but those are all good not “beery” beers. The New Glarus are some of my all time favorites and are only available in WI.

Guinness is actually a gift from the gods bestowed upon us to make us healthy and happy, and to unburden us from worldly problems we did not create, or care to acknowledge.

 

I only liked Guinness in Ireland. Can't drink it here.

 

If you have a beer in mind and don't want to buy a 6-pak, see if your local store or even gas station has what you want in a 24oz can.



I like 24 and 12 oz Modelo in a can.
The bottles of Modelo seem a little rich to me.

Corona Premire and Modelo Oro, their light beers, taste like water to me so they may be good for you.
My wife likes Dos Equis Especial (with lemon yuk) and Shiner light blond with a green olive in it (yum)..

I think the stuff they sell here is brewed somewhere here and the water must be different enough. Or maybe our bars don't know to serve it from a nitro tap.

Anyway, I found that Murphy's stout is even better, though I don't know if anyone sells it here.

 

A friend recently went to Ireland and said the Guiness there was better. He went to a pub and said some guy was walking out with what looked like a chemistry kit.
He ordered a Guinness, the bartender said good timing. Apparently Guinness sends a tester once a week to inspect the tap output. They had fresh kegs and just tested pours. He, my friend, said it was definitely better than here.

 

I feel like a trip to Ireland is in my future.

Vagueness required here - One party sent an email thinking it was only going to its party members but mistakenly sent it to the entire WA legislature. The email had talking points on taxes to raise to get more money to fund projects.

 

You must mean an accountant with a green visor - for shade.

I am saddled with paying taxes in about 15 states. It is not pretty. Once I retire and move to Wyoming life will be better.
