I had a 2018 RAV4. The original wipers from factory were perfect for 3years. I thought the same and paid Toyota to put Toyota OEM wiper blades on. Not the same. I got 6 months out of the wipers before streaking. Keep the original as long as possible lol

I’ve found the Toyota OEM replacements to last longer than either the Michellins or Bosch blades from Costco

I've been using the OEM inserts for 10 years. The Tundra's are super easy to replace unlike my Tacoma's that had metal inserts. I've tried the Bosch and RainX. (too expensive) The Tricos wouldn't make it through a winter. Anco's were junk. Silicone would be great but even more expensive. Plus some have open frames that allow stuff to get hung up in them. The OEMs, IMHO, are the way to go.

I can tell you to avoid this wiper insert from Amazon:
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BP6WGNLX?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
Easy to install but left a 2-3 inch streak of water across the whole travel of the blade positioned at the center of the blade.
I had to reinstall the old inserts.
Amazon garage tagged this as a fit for a 2024 Tundra which is weird as they are a universal part.
The cross-section on these inserts were not like the OEM ones.
The OEM inserts only had one channel on each side on the cross-section but the Amazon ones had two.
I will get genuine Toyota based on part number given in other posts on this thread.

I just got a set of the OEM inserts to replace the originals in my 2023. Easy peasy. No matter what you use the new attachment clip for the blades to the arms is the best and simplest ever. Genius.

I plan on swapping rubbers myself. Do this on my Hondas too. No point in buying the whole contraption unless it’s damaged.

    A bunch...
Living in the PNW we get alot of wet days... good wipers are a must, especially for someone who drives in the dark and is awaiting cataract surgery.

I have used PIAA Silicone wipers on all my trucks and love them. But now with a '25 Tundra, I am having trouble finding fitment information.

Hoping someone has tried the PIAA Si-Tech on the 3rd Gen Tundra and can report back on fitment.

Another vote for the Toyota OEM inserts. I find them to last almost 2 years for me here in Washington State. I typically just replace them around 1 1/2 years because they're not very expensive.

A month ago, I went in to the dealership parts dept to buy some. I asked for wiper blades and they pointed at a rack of Sightline blades at $22 each. I asked if they still sell the OEM inserts. The two parts guys looked at each other, smiled, and then one said, "Oh, you want the good stuff." They double checked the size and then went in to the back.

I also like the Bosch blades but the last time I bought them, they were around $29 each and they only last about 1 year for me.

Be CAREFUL on 'replacements' from Toyota, as they try to install their 'economy replacement' aka 'sightline blades', they are the $19.99 blade, NO refills available for the sightline style... the OE blade lists at $29.99 per blade, the INSERT for the OE blade is $12.18 per insert (X2)

Can anyone point me to an online source for the replacement wiper inserts # 85213-0C010 who will ship?

My closest dealer is over an hour away, and won't ship to my address. And I don't see the inserts on Amazon.

    Thanks for your help.

    I just ordered 2.

Shipping date was a ways out, but it was certainly cheap enough. The inserts price was also cheaper than my local dealers.

I’m still rocking my originals that are now 3 years old. They are still working 100% like new. Really incredible. There was a promotion a year or so ago to get a free set of wiper blades with an oil change so I have a new set sitting in a box.

What was their price? If I remember correctly, my dealer was $15 for a pair but haven't needed to buy any yet.

They were $8.71 per insert, which is half the price my local dealership charges.

Plus I didn't have to take the 2 hour round trip to my dealership to pick them up.

Edit: I was mistaken. My local dealer quoted me a price for the entire wiper blade replacement, not just the insert. They charge around $10 per insert. But, with the time and fuel savings, it was still a lot cheaper to order from the linked vender and have them delivered.

Just be careful... my normal dealer doesn't stock the refills, only the whole blades. Same for another dealer I tried whilst visiting family elsewhere. So, call ahead to see what your dealer carries. I had to order them via the Toyota parts website and select my dealer for pickup.

Same here, my dealer only carries the Site Line replacements which are not the same quality as the OEM originals.

Inserts are the way to go. I bought 4 of them (2 sets) so I should be good for approx 5 years of PNW rain
