I’m sure you could say the same thing for people with skid plates. It’s added weight but piece of mind if you ever run over something. Being heavier also means you don’t try to race, you sit back and enjoy the music more.

put Nitto Recon 35x11.50x20 on my 23 Platinum on stock rims and have no rubbing. They didn't touch the liner in front but I pinned them back anyway. I love the look and they drive nice. I would like mudflaps on now but not sure if there's clearance.

I have the same tires on the stock TRD 20" rims with mud flaps... no rubbing or issues... 100% agree... love the look and drive!

What's the offset on your rims?

    Thanks,

That looks good! I love the longer beds with bigger tires and a small lift, when they are on stock tires, they look so long when low. I like your limited being that color, the Chrome blends in more

I'm considering the same ones.....How did it effect the ride quality, MPG, and power?

Took a couple MPG hit, town is around 16mpg, freeway cruising at ~70 I get 18-19mgp.... stiffened up the ride a little, but not really noticeable. I tow a 24' travel trailer and it still tow's better than by 16' GMC 1500 did... hope that helps... I have had zero regrets, and would do it exactly the same again if I had too...

Received my truck on Saturday. Had tires and wheels put on in <40 miles.

Went with Icon Compression 18" x 9" +25 with Nitto Recon 295/70 R18. No rubbing at all.

Take delivery of our 2025 short-bed crew max limited on Sunday. Really want to go with 285/60r20 as this is the smallest size the new BFG KO3 tires come in. Hope to avoid a level kit or lift. Can anyone confirm the 285/60r20s will fit the stock wheels and suspension with no rub? TIA

For reference I’ve attached a pic of a 2025 with 305/60r20s I drove home for a garage check but it has a 1.75” level kit.
