The only thing I warn with plugs is to make sure you buy from either an auto parts store or a dealer. Do not order from eBay or Amazon, way too many counterfeit plugs out there to risk saving a few bucks.

Here are my OEM plugs at about 69,000 miles. I was curious what they looked like. They lookedPlugs3.jpg Plugs2.jpg great. I'll probably go 20k more miles this time. I bought my NGK's from an authorized NGK reseller.

I plan to change mine soon on my 2019, only have 60,000 miles and Toyotas interval is 120,000, my concern isn't the spark plugs going bad but being hard to remove after the time it will take me to get to 120,000.

I’m at 60K miles on my 2019. I plan on changing mine soon. I’m gonna go with the NGK Ruthenium plugs (94122 / LFR6AHX-S).

How'd they look? Not exactly excited to tackle this, but not selling a kidney to pay the dealership to do it either. Could you have gone another 40,000?

IS it rubber coated so you don't damage anything? Also was it long enough?

My 07 had some nice carbon build up in cylinder 6. More than pictured. Modified my shop vac to clean it out. IMO it’s not a one hour job given the SAIPs but it's not a $600 to $800 job either

i would say they probably could have, I wouldn't tell someone to do it if not comfortable. but compared to my ram with 16 plugs in tighter spaces I thought it was very easy. I put in bilstein myself compressing springs and all, that was def alot more challenging

Did not have to touch my air box assembly but had to move SAIP for #6 and #5. Were you really able to change them all without moving nothing but the air box. Nice.

I had 2004 Ram 1500 5.7 before I traded it on this 2020 Tundra. You are so right. A lot cheaper not having to buy twice as many plugs for that waste-spark system. Not only that, the plastic connectors on my Ram were so brittle by the time I changed the plugs you had to hold your breath everytime you disconnected something; still broke a couple. You were right not to use anti-seize too.

I changed them at 60k on that truck when the truck was probably 8 years old. Sad that the plastic was already so brittle. I'm going to do my Tundra plugs at 100K I think.

    Too many mods to come
Easy peasy just did mine for the millionth time it seems. I recommend no antiseize as this seems to make it more difficult to remove later.
