3” lift, MB wheels, 33s, led bulbs
Hi all! 22 years old, live in western Pennsylvania, I started out with a bunch of different 80s and 90s Toyota pickups and 4 runners, then an fj cruiser and a couple Tacoma’s. Just recently, with the plans of doing more hauling and maybe starting a family sometime coming up in the future, I decided to make a trade. after 4 years I traded my baby (2014 tacoma) In on this 2017 5.7 SR5 tundra. I love it so far. I installed all led lights in it from my tacoma (headlights, dogs, map, dome, cargo, license plate) and my 3”+2” lift will be going on in the morning, followed by some 18” MB wheels that will be delivered tomorrow afternoon with some 33” falken wild peak MT wrapped around them. Stay tuned for the finished product tomorrow! Thanks!
Btw...the Black tacoma is the one I traded in on my tundra...

    I’m from Punxsutawney pa.

In order from when I was 15 I had
    91 Toyota pickup
    87 Toyota pickup
    89 Toyota 4Runner
    07 Toyota FJ Cruiser
    85 Toyota pickup
    2014 Toyota Tacoma
    85 Toyota 4Runner
    86 Toyota pickup
    88 Toyota pickup
    07 Toyota Tacoma
Which leads me to my tundra. I kept the 14 tacoma longest. I usually had two trucks at a time but for the past few years I only had my 14 tacoma. I also bought my wife a 2013 RAV4 and she enjoys the Toyota life herself

    Welcome! 33” on a 3” lifted Tacoma looks great. You’ll want 35” on a 3” lift for these :)

I from what I gathered it depends on your wheel offset, and tire brand for 35s. I didn’t wanna cut my new truck yet so I figured I’d try the 33s and then if they clear with my new wheels with no issues I’ll go to 35s next time. ‍♂️

I was gonna do 34s but the tire selection and price difference was rediculous for 1” of tire so I’ll rock the 33s for a while

Gotcha. What offset are you going with? You can stuff 35” with the proper offset. It’ll be like a stuffed pig, but it’s possible if you wanted that route.

Nice! My first bike was a 1986 KDX80.

I just ride MX for fun now. I raced from ages 10-17, love riding. This past Saturday I had a nasty get off though, cased a 70' or so table with a short and steep landing, went over the bars, body did a complete front flip. Nothing broken but my knee is jacked up and I'm sore all over. I think I'm getting too old for this. A woods bike may be in my future.

I have had a bunch of bikes, grew up riding in the woods, raced mx, hill climbed. A little bit of everything. The dualsport is a nice calm way to stay in the sport without going big.

That's awesome, bought my truck from the same dealer back in march while I was up there visiting family. Dealt with Phil and Devon, pretty nice dealership. Small world.

Hill climbs are something I never considered, that's insane haha!

Smart move with the dual sport.... I was thinking maybe a KTM 200 2 stroke woods bike...
