Moose jaw.com has the chalk bags. That’s where I got mine.

Did this mod today - very happy with the results! Now those little cup holders are freed up for coffee and the chalk bags are for water.

Anyway, did things a little differently. Cut the loops to form a single strap as suggested by the OP.

    Driver's Side
    - Started by punching holes with a hot nail, similar to the OP. Rolled up with zip ties.
    - However this seemed somewhat weak so I did it again except with a piece of aluminum stock I had laying around
    - The rod now lays under the plastic lip inside the console, seemingly should be very strong

    Passenger Side
    - Did not want to obscure the little 'cubby' since I keep some stuff in there
    - Wanted the bag right next to the seat, as on the driver's side
    - Turns out there's potentially interference with some of the plastic posts of the console cover
    - Decided to "roll up" the left strap. The aluminum bar was too thick, used a piece of a nail
    - Undid the screws holding the inner sections of the console to gain some play and jammed it between. Put screws back in.
    - On the right strap there's no room to jam the roll anywhere.
    - Cut the strap to the size of the inner plastic shoulder and used a hot nail to create a pilot hole, then put in a sheet metal screw
    - This is even stronger than the driver's side
    - Note: I cut a little relief into the strap using a hot nail assuming one of the console posts would hit it. This cut was not needed. (No interference when assembled)

Did it for the wife. Gonna inspect her Durango and see if I can do one in there also.

I couldn't find a drill or a hole puncher, so I used a utility knife and it worked fine for making the hole big enough for a zip tie to fit through.

Fits the big Nalgene bottle great, and also works great for the 28 oz Blender Bottle.

Works the same in the Durango. I didn’t do an aluminum bar this time like I did on mine but it seems pretty secure.

Finally got around to doing mine! Finally have a spot for my Nalgene that works. Might do one on the driver's side too so the wife can put her obnoxious Stanley cup in the passenger side one.20240407_181540.jpg

Can anyone confirm if that tacticool option can roll up into that slot on the passenger side like the chalk bag can?

Took this pic last night, the bag has been in for several months. Looks like I need to get the console seated back in.

Did the bag mod to my wife’s Highlander.

Not so sure it will be for a water bottle, as much as it will become a trash can (which is fine, because this bag has a one piece liner)

Either way, it fits nicely and is easily accessible from the driver’s seat.
