Hey guys so my tail gate latch was working fine this morning but now it’s not. Took some pics maybe one of you will see what’s wrong straight away because i’ve tried everything other than replacing the latch.

No it’s not. I Lift it to open the gate it doesn’t pull those metal chords. But when it’s locked it does.

I laughed entirely too hard at this

Also, @shifty` has a post about this. Some clips may have come undone or broken. You can replace them and get it all nice and purddyyy and working proper.

Orrrrrrrrr do like me and slight bend the arms to essentially "shorten the length" and make the bitch work. Been going strong the last 8-9months?

Not a direct comparison, but on my moms sequoia the plastic arm coming off the handle would flex in the summer, and snap in the winter.
