I have an 08 5.7 liter 4x4 DC. Here is what is wrong. I had the 4 Lo light flashing non stop. After searching it down, I realized it is the actuator on the front axle that is causing the problem. I was able to beat it into submission with a rubber mallet to get the truck home. I'm looking for an official procedure on how to take the actuator off and rebuild it. I have been unemployed for a little while so going and paying Toyota a 1,000 dollars really isn't a viable option right now. I really need help. Thanks in advance.

I have what you need, but the site will not let me upload the PDF files.
Go here and click the link to get your own copy on PDF. Then go to pages 4129 - 4177.
    Hope that helps.
