Get them. Worth it. Small foot print. My kind of "mod". Low price, good quality.

I would probably attached them to the tow bar itself. In hindsight I think it would look better. The angle of the bar would cause them to sit flush with the bumper. Just a thought! Self tapping bolts or larger cable ties would do the trick I think.

They stick out a little to far for my taste, they good though, once I black them out you won't even know they are there. That last pic is of a set I had I. My old truck for two years before I replace them, I'm putting them on my duck boat.

I took a look under my 07 which is slightly different. Trailer plug connector is mounted to the left of the receiver. Not a problem. Plenty of mounting options. Really like these lights.

    18 watts at 12 volts is 1.5 amps. X2 = 3 amps total. You'll be fine.

For those of you that want to know how to determine current draw for example like @mdavis did, use this Ohm's Law wheel (volts can also be "E" on some wheels):

Wonder who else is going to get a pair before the day is over. 3 or 4 so far?

^^^ Ohms Law. Everything you need to know (well almost). Also thinking about a pair for mine. Nice little set.

So, my LEDs are coming in today and I was wondering how big of a relay I will need. I'm going to wire it in with the reverse lights.

Nothing too big. Just one that can handle ~3 amps. Say 5 to have wiggle room.

Going to wire mine up direct to reverse circuit. Going to skip the relay since current draw is so low. If I were to rig the lights so I can switch them on and off, I would definitely add the relay.

Take pictures so I can have a gauge for when I do it. I thought about having the switch but I only really need to have them on when I am in reverse.

Same here. If you ever decide to wire the lights separately on their own circuit then you would want to add the relay. Even though current draw is relatively low it certainly wouldn't hurt going the relay route. Maybe a 5amp.

You end up running a relay or did you just tap into the reverse light circuit?

I just tapped into the reverse circuit in the bumper. I didn't use a relay and so far so good.

Got my lights yesterday. Too hot today so I 'll mount mine tomorrow after work. Lights appear to be pretty solidly made. Plus is that there are two freebie Allen wrenches. Hoo hoo !!
