Mountun Goat’s Anatomy Thread

Well this is ridiculous even to admit. I finally bought a lc2 pro and hooked up my sub. What an unreal upgrade. I can’t believe I waited 3 years ha.

 

Today I half sound deadened all four doors. I don’t have any acoustic dead-mat to replace the inner-door hollow spaces- I’ll do that later. I used this spray in acoustic stuff for the door skins that I had lying around. I’m highly surprised with the outcome of it. The doors shut and sound like an high end vehicle now. Installed 6x9s into the front doors, I used sash cord to get the 1/8” needed to clear the magnets from the glass. I used all new clips to reattach the door panels. Sounds like a new truck inside

 

Nice to see a solid Alberta build. I just got a 2010 that lived in Alberta. Where did you get the window tint done on your truck? What were the specs again? 35% side windows? I want to get mine done. Of all your mods, the side exhaust exit I haven’t seen since LR Defender days. Totally cool!

No real tent city/Trudeau towns any more. The good ol' boys rounded up a posse and ran 'em out of town a few years back. It was funny shit.

The Alberta truck will live on Vancouver Island for a while now. I found registrations in the manual from a Lady who owned and
had 3 Tundras registered! It had an SGI sticker for 2022 but I bought it from a realtor in Burnaby who owned it for 2 months, drove
it 354 kms and sold it. Once I get it into the forest and cycle that 4 wheel drive system like it needs it should be good.
I haven't been to Whitecourt in long, long time. Passed thru coming back from Grande Prairie when I lived there for a bit.
I might sneak into US and get the ceramic tint done on the side door windows and up front. I know it keeps it cool. If I
do it right hopefully the federally's won't chase me down.
