Have a 3rd gen Tundra and am looking for mudflaps to protect the paint, prevent rocks from being thrown, etc. My truck has power running boards, so getting the right mudflaps is even more important. Tires are stock.

Have been doing some research and the following seem like the most popular mudflap options… but each has at least one ‘downside’:

    1) Toyota OEM — too small… so doesn’t protect enough

    2) Weathertec — too small… so doesn’t protect enough

    3) Rekgen — the mudflaps are a nice size and look good… but the screws are larger than the factory screws (and would rather not go down that road…)

    4) Rockblokz — the mudflaps are a nice size and look good (like Rekgen)… but the screws are silver colored which doesn’t look the best (IMO)

    5) Rally Armor — only seems like the UR model is available online (other than Universal model)… and I like that the flaps are more flexible… but they are shiny which doesn’t look great (IMO)

If I had to pick something now it’d be the Rockblokz or Rally Armor because they seem to be a good size/work well, and don’t (to my knowledge) have different size screws than factory… even if they don’t look ideal (IMO).

Please tell me if you disagree / why. Of course appreciate any advice from the group.

I debated this for months and finally installed the Rokblokz on my 24. Like you I'm not a fan of the silver colored screws but that's easily remedied.

I've only had them on 3 days but like the look. Just so you know, the install was not as easy as their video shows. For some reason Toyota changed two of the screws to snap clips on the rear so the Rokblokz screws were non functional. I had to remove the clips and use bolts, washers and nuts.

1 and 5 below are where mine were snap clips instead of threaded holes

Been running these for 11 months. As said fit great. No issues and a way better price than over-priced OEM.

Down side to 3-5 is that Subaru fans will wave at you with a vape cloud.
