Id like to order these for my 2002 access cab, and cut them to be rewelded by a professional shop, to be shortened so the bed step would line up. I know I’ll have to modify the mounts and even drill holes for the mounts. Anyone done anything like this? Would love pics if anyone has any. Thanks

@abcinv actually has step bars from a name brand that are very, very similar to that. I forget the name (EDIT: I think it's n-Fab), but can look it up.

    His post on it: https://www.tundras.com/threads/wha...-gen-tundra-today.2558/page-1543#post-3074713

This is the link I think: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072KKF7SH

He also linked up these other ones that should fit AC/RC but they looked a bit sketch on quality (to me): https://www.tundras.com/threads/nerf-running-board-sale-on-amazon.115139/#post-2972682

yeah I ended up seeing those too, but since they are pretty expensive might just have to go to a shop and ask them for a custom set, since either way I’ll end up at the shop for them to shorten them for an AC cab, might just be better off having a shop make some for me.. thank you for the reply I’d really like the one to have the truck step.

Man, I'm jealous. I spent weeks researching nerf bars. I guess I just missed the n-fab's due to the price. I could've sworn when I looked at the one for the 06 double cab it did not have that extra step for the truck bed

side note: I ended up with two extra sets of black Westin Nerf bars for a double cab because the first two arrived with a slight ding and they told me to keep them instead of returning
