Kings are the way to go! If you love them now you'll be even more impressed if you install a flutter stack

I had to look this up, as I didn’t know what it was. I suppose when they need revalving again I can look into it.

I recommend it, I had mine done that way through Accutune, the before and after difference on the road was huge.

wrapped the top of the tent with white vinyl to reflect some heat and keep it cooler inside. Also made a little dolly to set the rack on so I can move it around easier. (Swivel casters installed after pic was taken).

it is fn hot out here... I need to do some googling on the install of the next two items.. but thanks to @iHacker and @14CRWMX i finally have good headlights in! Only sacrifice was the clips to my grill, but we will see how bad it impacts things.

FRAC and Auxbeam. I think I am going to make an auxbeam cover for that card holder over my head, but I was going to start the engine bay wiring. One the FRAC, I havent even looked yet and am trying to decide where to put the extra camera. I want it around the 3rd brake light so I can observe loads and blah blah. But I dont see an easy way to do that so I may buy a light with the camera built in... or not. I dont really need a front one.

Nice. The FRAC should come with instructions but there are plenty here in the forum that have installed it. I have the Anytimebackupcamera kit on mine.

I bought it from a member here, but am watching a youtube on it now. Easier than I thought but I need to do some wirework first. Easy, now I just need to solve for the camera. Yes, I am trying to hide inside right now.... damn its hot

There is an expensive way to mount it up there but again expensive

    Screen Shot 2024-05-16 at 11.48.11 AM.png

But you could also mount it inside on the headliner like they do for the rear Dash Cameras. This where i have my dash cam. This was a picture while I was installing.

So many options, I am going to sit on this a while so I can plan it out. Plus, I need to make room since I do not have any blank spaces for the switch. So good excuse while I wait.

Still waiting on UPS, so i decided to try to fix my antenna again. This time I got it!!! Only issue is i threw away the adapter I needed for the antenna, so its back to Amazon... even though I never use the radio....

Finally got this stupid piece unlodged from the previous owners fun

    upload_2024-5-16_15-0-11.png

Also, since he stiiiiiilllll hasnt shown yup yet, I went ahead and wired in my reverse camera for the camper. This will help when I am parking solo, like I will be on my next trip.

next up, clean up the factory grease garbage they use and silicone it to seal it...

I have my install posted up on this site from back in 2018 but the switches that came with the kit (one for the camera and the other for the VIM) I put in the little cubby under the AC controls. I put them up on top of the panel so you do not see them but can easily feel with your finger reaching down there. Pretty simple, just find the center and drill your holes then snap in the switches.

    IMG_0927 2.jpg

The one with the Red/White/Blue wires are the camera and the 2 green wires are the VIM. These right above the cigarette lighter, in that cubbyhole

That was a smart location! I went with the "factory" switch style, so I am trying to decide if I want to buy a new lower piece, or cut my armrest and buy that insert. If I do that, I will move the window switch since I hate where that is at. Who knows, its hot, so I am in no hurry. I was originally planning on putting it in before the camping trip so I can watch the hitch for peace of mind, so if i go that route I will just pull the glass break sensor for now. Thank you for the pics!

Which camera did you get and how do you like it? I had one on my last camper that was ok, but seemed to get interference under bridges and such causing it cut out. Also had a pretty long delay.

I'd like to add one to a new to me 7x12 enclosed trailer.
