    I'm new here. my radio antenna got scraped off in car wash. how do i acccess it to replace?

    They normally just screw on/off. Is the threaded portion still intact?

    I replaced the original antenna with a 6 inch flexible one I googled & bought thru Amazon. Works great! & goes thru the car wash ok.

    In my case the base where the antenna screws in was broken. I think I can access it through passenger compartment but not sure
