I really wish I would have gotten the SCS Ray 10s in Bronze. I have a MGM tundra.

The TRD skid plate looks good. I don't really have an issue removing the skid plate when doing an oil change so can't justify spending the coin on a new skid plate.

I get it and can relate. I was out riding about a month ago when the drivetrain on my road bike decided to #&$@ off while I was punching it up a hill. I went over the bars and ended up with 6 broken ribs.

Being lazy sucks, can't wait to get back out there much to the surprise of everyone else.

Took advantage of RCI's sale and ordered up an Arapaho front bumper and a set of sliders. So amped to actually wheel real trails again, it's been too long. Oh, @CaptRussia253 & @reywcms I put together a power point to convince my wife that new truck parts were necessary, it worked like a charm, title page below for reference. Also she enjoys going out wheelin so that helps upload_2024-4-24_9-28-37.png

At least yours enjoys the wheeling mine does not too much but the camping part yes. Granted the pace of wheeling and driving style is what she doesn't enjoy lol. AKA driving like a mad man lol

Ha, I'm sure if I had your truck she'd have some different opinions on wheeling. I grew up wheelin in the rocks of Norcal, so I can live without too much skinny pedal. Big 4LO guy lol

Mine is the opposite. She loves wheeling and grew up off-roading in a cj7 Jeep with her dad. She hates tent camping so I had to buy a travel trailer so she could have a kitchen and a full-size bed...

Shit, at least you get to enjoy it too! We live close to so many trails we normally just do day trips, but hopefully we can get a little camping in as the little one a little bigger.

Nice, I got out in front of that one and suggested that we get my wife a 4Runner. I selfishly want us to be a two Toyota offroad rig family, and I think she's pretty much on board. The roll down rear window for the dogs was a great selling point

Knockoff Winjets. I'd steer clear. The authentic ones were ok but the red plastic inserts fade from sun and the side LEDs can come undone from heat as they're merely hot glued in.

we've been a two Toyota house for the last 6-7 years. She's dreaming of a GX. She has a Highlander now. I had a 4runner before the truck.

Ooh, the new GX looks sweet. Wouldn't be sacrificing too much for one of those. Aside from money, lots of sacrifice there lol

Why not get a 23 GX? We were looking and my wife asked if I wanted to wait for the new model - No Thanks.
The 23GX is like my 21 Tundra, last of the Proven V8's.

Made a little progress on my chrome delete journey today. Installed the matte black Meso cup holder and shift surround inserts. Also hit the shift position panel with some matte clear thanks to @Pillslinger for the tips on that. Up next is probably going to paint the steering wheel trim with SEM matte black before moving on to the radio surround and A/C vent rings. Still chewing on how I want to address the bumper caps but happy with how things are turning out to this point.

Ya that matte clear is money... somehow makes the shiney clear cheap gear shift cover actually look more "high-class"

Does the dlr just plug into the fuse box in the "ign" slot? Also does the dlr auto dim when you turn on the headlights? This is all plug and play correct?
