Did the “car trim” switches that have been advertised before on the forums. Quick shipping, easy install, work great.
Went with “white” because I did the “victron?” Speedo mod. Not bright, just right.

You just replace the switches and have all auto windows?

Yeah- there is a thread floating around here- might be 2.5 gen thread about switching them out
You can find them on “cartrim” auto parts.
    Super easy to do.

Steering wheel wrap from Amazon “lokey” or something like that-60 bucks? So nice. Took about 2.5 hrs . Love it. Lighting looks weird - it’s a flat black.IMG_2849.jpg

    Few more
I think I’m done. Ready for summer! Want to do Denver Cabo soon if the border cools down a little. Please PM if you have any current intel on Baja. Did it 1993 in a VW bus I rebuilt out of a junkyard! (Santa Barbara to Baja then to Cancun)

Looks like your Baja surf rig has come together. I sent a text to my friend who lives in Pescadero about border issues. As far as I know he uses the San Diego border and drives back and forth at least once a year.

    Yes- wheels sold quick.
So I went up just a tad in tire size and went 17 to 18” wheels in anticipation of maybe needing a bigger brake in the future. WAGing that I added10+\- in wheel weight…. Dang, that really killed my mpg, like almost 2mpg! But that said I added a 1/2 in height, who knows…(before super pacific)
